Posted May 21, 201015 yr http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FfBBP6pQL._SL500_AA300_.jpg This week's French singles chart is dedicated to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, but not because of songs from Skakira, K'Naan or Akon. 10 of the 12 new entries on the top 100 are... the national anthems of some participating countries! All hymns are credited to the various artists. For each disc is also included the national flag. And on this occasion we have another sign 'o' the times in France, 'cause "La Marseillaise" lost to "Qassaman", in other words the French national anthem debuted lower than the national anthem of Algeria... Hymns were the following positions: 11. Algeria 12. France 14. Portugal 22. Italy 31. Spain 38. Brazil 53. Cameroon 56. England 58. Ivory Coast 71. South Africa Well, the gold medal for Algeria! And how will at the World Cup in South Africa?
