Don't we normally get a few stories each year whereby a decent electro act announce they wish to enter Eurovision for the UK, we all jizz ourselves happy over the prospect, and then nothing comes of it and we send some absolute nobody/reality reject with a dated track that would've been considered third-rate even when it was relevant?

 

I've been left broken-hearted too many times by these things :(

True enough, but if they're fans enough to want to see the contest live, that must make them a contender?
