July 8, 201015 yr I only looked at the D photos, and thought what a poor coverage of his performance, all playing his guitar, all facing the same way. Where are the ones showing him singing minus guitar? Typical pro approach.....shoot off half a dozen shots and call that it. I have to agree with you on this Bramley, our's are much better ;) There are restrictions for the pro's but then again, they are pro's, so they should still do a decent job whatever conditions/restrictions they have to face. I could and would have done better that this pro's results, but then I have an interest in D. Fortunately our roving reporters where on hand to snap the required killer pics
July 8, 201015 yr Author Most of the reviews for Mercedes Benz were positive - the worst things being said were, one person, that he was on too long when they were waiting for Russell and a second that he was very good - but didn't he know it. I can't imagine that a shy rendition of a swing song would ever work. The rest thought he was great.
July 8, 201015 yr Author I just had to have one of the guitar and singing videos up. I chose 'Time Of Your Life' 56B0WAz1qac Edited July 9, 201015 yr by megham

July 9, 201015 yr how bizzare, I never understand that standpoint..if a performer thought he wasnt good..he probably wouldnt be on a stage!
July 9, 201015 yr Author I don't know - think back to the talent show auditions. In this case, Darius was there BECAUSE he is good - even if God didn't buy him a Mercedes Benz.
July 9, 201015 yr Thanks for that last video Meg, I love just him and his guitar as well, infact lets face it, I just love his voice! Sue
July 11, 201015 yr Author This time last week we were at Mercedes Benz event - why does it seem ages ago?
July 12, 201015 yr It's funny but watching Darius at outside venues always does seem to involve extremes of weather. I remember watching him once at what was then the Mc Alpine Stadium in Huddersfield on one of the hottest days of the year in soaring temperatures. Sue
July 12, 201015 yr Author There did seem to be extremes, I either drowned or sweltered. Or, in Portsmouth's case, froze.

July 13, 201015 yr I'd just done my leg at Haydock and was in a very wet wheelchair, being pushed by a very grumpy husband! Sue
July 13, 201015 yr Well I had been sad to miss one so close to home, but reading that I may have been better in Florida's sun listening to his cd :)
