I actually think NME has got it's act together recently. The new format seems to be able fit in more features and each issues has alot more to offer me. I actually look forward to buying it now where as for the last 5 years it's been out of habit.

I still dont buy the NME but I have checked out the revamp and it is very much in the right direction.

I agree totally. I bought the relaunch issue and was impressed, even if I haven't bought it since. The McNicholas era was horrible. I'd stil be buying it out of habit too if it hadn't been for the depths it plunged to.

omg i'm 5 tracks in and this album is GODAWFUL. So repetitive and f***ing MESSY.

 

Venusia is the worst song like ever. :/

 

And i liked Myths Of The Near Future very much.

I mean following Mercury Prize winning and platinum selling debut and No. 55 single and barely a top 10 album with 10k sold...

Even MGMT had more success and their album was less commercial.
