Sorry to hear you couldn't make the panto BP.

Have you managed to get any money back for the hotel.

Hope you can get there before it finishes.

Aww hope your ankle gets better again very soon Baytree........it sounds very painful! :(

Hope your getting plenty of rest! :)

Hope you had an Amasing time those who managed to go last night!!....cant wiat to hear all about it!! :D

Thanks, folks.

My brother tells me the streets are deadly here today - very, very icy.

He knows how to cheer someone up - not!

Oh well another day in the house. There's not a lot I can do so at the moment so I think I'll get the card and glue out and make some Christmas cards.

It's was awful to try and walk here as well but it's melting now. The old wellie boots came out and even then I nearly went a couple of times. Isn't it hard to be patient while you wait to mend. I hope it doesn't take too long. Thanks for the news about the panto.

I'm going out while the sun is shining

Sorry about your fall BT. I hate this weather because I go one way and the crutch goes another! We've had more snow overnight and more forecast for later, but it does seem to be thawing at present. Sue
The sun seems to have practically clearfed ours - a few icy patches you have to be careful to see but nothing like the compressed snow and ice we had yesterday.
sorry to hear about your fall, BT - the pavements always seem to be forgotten in all the raod gritting, i thnk the snow has turned to rain and its cleared round here, but I dread monday if the hill is icy, it is so steep, I may have to take a bag of grit with me for the school walk! it is all too easy to take a tumble

I've been trying to find the songs Pat mentioned. Can Golddigga be the Kanye West song?

If so, the lyrics of the verse are way. way wrong for panto. I assume they'll either use the Glee version or a unique West of Scotland version.

Looking forward to hearing Darius and Julie sing Can't Fight This Feeling.

Sorry to hear you've had a fall BT :( Hope it's not too uncomfortble and that you make a speedy recovery

The panto sounds fantastic, I'm not sure if I'll be able to re-schedule though as we're in the middle of something and money's a bit tighter than usual. Even if I could, I think I'd end up sitting virtually in the car park(if it has one). Just have to see what happens.

Hope everyone planning to go can make it. What dates are people hoping to attend?

Hope your ankle and the cuts and bruises heal quickly BT
They dont the Glee version of GoldDigger and Darius was hilarious doing it!! I will warn you they are VERY STRICT about photos/videos been taken so much so I was only texting on my phone (which was on silent ) and was ordered to put it off! We were also told off for whispering to each other about the show!! If they saw anyone with phones or anything of that sort they were right over to their seats telling them it was a no go & stood their watched them as they put it back in their bags or jackets. x
I hope the snow doesn't continue. I'd be happier if it could just stay away until Thursday

It's coming down thick and fast again here and lying on top of the icy remnants underneath.

The Citizens Theatre had to cancel several shows last week. The Kings won't, I'm sure, but it could affect audiences.

I couldn't attempt it if I wasn't sure I could get back by Mum's bedtime. What a shame. What a waste of money as well but more, I will hate to miss the panto.

Fingers crossed! The West of Scotland airports seem to be/have been operating pretty much as normal.

I do hope so. My flight is now 1hr 5mins earlier than when I booked and I'm not too sure about being able to get Mum up in time for me to leave. The whole idea is a nightmare really
