December 30, 201014 yr There's one right behind the theatre. A very nice ticket warden told us and as we were there by 3pm he told me to take the car back out just before 6 and then straight back in after 6 as it was cheaper after 6pm. If I didn't I would get charged a huge amount for the hours I'd been there. Hope you make it. Pam

January 3, 201114 yr :angry: 550 mile round trip, another hotel and about £60 worth of fuel and Darius was sick :( Just my luck :( Sometimes things just aren't meant to be :( Fortunately for me though, even though Darius was sick, he still appeared Sunday evening. He struggled throughout to speak his lines, but managed to sing quite well. He seemed to find it easier to sing than to talk :wacko: Really enjoyed the panto and the humour throughout. Could have done with more Darius for me though(no there's a surprise). As has been mentioned, after seeing his acting in GWTW, this role didn't present any sort of a challenge, though obviously it will be a reasonable earner for him. We all know, if he could go on he would do! Let's hope he's getting better, mainly for him but also for the many people who are hoping to see him in the show. Just wonder what he'll do next!

January 4, 201114 yr That's a relief. It's more than an inconvenience to those who have travelled just to see Darius - it's so very, very disappointing. I feel sorry for those who'd booked the matinee if he didn't appear in that. Really glad you managed to see him. BP. I was getting worried.
January 4, 201114 yr oh dear - i hope it isnt flu - and it doesnt get worse, i belive jb had plueresy in one lung from his flu, so couldnt physically sing - he was doing the matinee sunday to see if he could return or not..from what i read.
