God, this is setting in EARLY. Despite not really caring much at all about this contest until this week, the brief subject of my passions is now over for another year and I feel ever so slightly depressed, as always :(

So, share your thoughts on this year's contest, and make promises to go to Berlin next year which inevitably result in nothing etcetc. TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME PED.

I recorded it, and am watching it again in an attempt to cure this. :D I hate the couple of weeks after, I always feel a bit...blehhh. :( Still...only a few months until it all starts again! :w00t:

are we sure is going to be Berlin? :P

Germany has tons of cities to host the event!

hopefully they gonna confirm the host city in the coming days :D

looking forward to ESC 2011 already :kink:

I'm kinda deflated because Playing With Fire is not going to be as big a hit as if it won.

I recorded it, but my Sky+ box was screwy all night, I ended up watching most of it on iPlayer... anyway, got an excuse to buy the DVDs now :cheer:

I'm still on a fair-size Euro-high, my major problems are

1) I can't buy the winning song on iTunes (I know I've got the CD but I always buy the winner)

2) I can't afford the tickets to Germany right now

3) Everyone and their dog wants to go

You never know, it did get the biggest British vote aside from Greece and Turkey, which Norway got last year! :funky:

Oh and  at this bit... I think I'm meant to be in Norway as we speak...

1) Upsetting. This best get resolved or I will be livid.

2) How much will they cost? I'm planning on saving up my student loan and living off budget noodles in an attempt to go next year :drama:

3) Was it not the same last year? :kink:

Tesco. 26p. And they're actually quite nice tbh.

For now, I'm in a celebration mode. Great winner, best for years and as I haven't been following ESC recently the songs this year are most new to me at the moment.

Even better. Sainsbury's. 10p. :funky:

I'm guessing that there will be just four auto-qualifers next year (Germany, UK, Spain, France)? Munich would be the best host city ever. :yahoo:

Oh yeah. :o So we'll have 11 coming from one semi and ten from another? Could get a bit messy...unless we go back down to 24 countries again, or they let Turkey auto-qualify, the latter being very unlikely though.

I'm not overly deflated to be honest, my favourite song of 2010 by far won the contest - what's to be unhappy about :party2:

I am of course wanting to go to Germany next year but I reckon RTL will put on something incredible and the tickets will sell out within 2 minutes or something :drama:

I will look into tickets for Germany. After all, I can't let what could turn out to be my favourite song of all time, win, and then sit back thinking "I'll just watch it on TV again next year".

Also, I doubt they could let 11 come from one semi, and 10 from the other next year, as people would complain, even if they decide which semi gets 11 qualifiers by a random draw. So either get it down to a 24 country final [:(], or let Turkey automatically qualify [yes please]. OR - get Italy to return :kink:

Can't wait until October 1st, when 2011 songs can start to be made available to the public. Hopefully we get some news before then. And I can't wait to see what Germany manages to do with it. At the start, the song quality this year didn't look great, but in the end, the final was excellent.

I can see that happening :drama: This is probably the easiest contest for Western people to attend in years! I so want to go though.

I really want to go to Eurovision next year as well. Does anyone know when the actual tickets for the event are released, like roughly?

Although, I'd even be inclined to just get dress rehearsal tickets and then hang around in the city to watch the final, wherever it might be.
