I dunno if anyone else felt this (and I dont mean to diss the lovely Norwegians) but gosh it seems just impossible to top that magnificent stage the Russians put out in 2009 for the ESC in Moscow. That was a mind-blowing IT feat, huge monitors all over the place (even the floor) that reflected the mood of the songs perfectly and it all resulted in a staggering visual treat. After seeing that and then seeing Oslos "ordinary" stage somehow it just lacked the punch of it all. Ok this aint about the stage I know its about the songs and the whole ESC atmosphere but still...just thought Id throw this out there!

On the other hadn I really liked the Norwegian hosts, they did an awesome job and I think the nicest touch was when they walked around the green room giving a short intro and background to each act. Oh yea and the whole flashmob dance thing!

As for UK entry - Josh is a decent fella and he can sing but as always with us - wrong song :( WTH was that, felt like a rewind back to 1982, geez.

As for Lena & her songwriting team - deserved win. Wicked song :)

Yeah the stage didn't blow me away like last year's either, but they put on a fantastic show on the whole and I was really impressed with the hosts too. There wasn't any of that awkwardness that usually comes with presenters trying to make jokes in a language that isn't their first

And I really hope Josh can get past this and have some sort of successful music career, he's talented and I like him :)

I admit a part of me kinda missed that!

Yea good luck to Josh, as always ESC is such a gamble for artists for some it pays off (Jade got a slot in a popular girl band) while other slide into forgotten-land.

I really hope Lena does an album, I like her sound and the comparisions with Bjork are inevitable.

besides how AMAZINGLY good was the stage in Moscow last year, OMG that interval act with the dancers coming from the roof and the watter was out of this world good!

I agree with the stage being better last year, but I much prefer this year's interval act, I think it's the best ever. It got the whole of Europe involved, and that's what I love about Eurovision

Sorry, no links to download files are allowed on BuzzJack Blake :( Feel free to send the link to the members that wanted it via a personal message though :D

The interval act was good.

Something somewhere in me prefers Riverdance.

Has she had a hand writing any of the songs? Will check it out on YT!

yes she co -wrote more than a half of the song on the album.

she also did 2 covers, from Adele and Jason Mraz.
