I have had as few PMs asking why the www.worldcharts.co.uk website is down, it went down last Thursday evening without any warning.

I am happy that so many members visit the site.

Apparently BT are working on upgrades to their fibre optic cables. They have had a problem with the system which has affected a full Science Park where the company that hosts the website is situated.

They promised it would be back on line by Monday but this hasn't happened they say it should be back by tomorrow but I take any promises from BT with a pinch of salt.

There are 3 web hosting companies on this Science Park which hosts over 160,000 websites between them and they have all gone offline at the moment.

I would like to apologise for any inconvenience for visitors. I have however managed to get a Sorry page online with a backup server at extra cost.

So again please accept my apologies

I will reply to this thread when it is back and hope that visitors will please be patient and bear with me.

Also if the signature image appears at the bottom of any of my posts then you know that the site is back.

Thanks for letting us know euro music. I persoanlly visit the Worlds Charts website once guaranteed every week (usually on Saturday evenings) but have occasionally gone on there during the week to find information.

I don't suppose you can post the latest Billboard European Top 100?

Sorry for the inconvenience to my loyal website visitors.

The website should be fully functioning again tomorrow (04 June)

I have changed web hosts but the site now needs fully uploading.

Some parts are uploaded but should be complete then.

Thanks to all the site's visitors for all their patience.

Great stuff. :D I checked it out earlier and was happy to see the website working. Well, the sections I wanted to check out were working anyways. :D

Hi euro music!

I just love your "worldcharts" site!! It's the best of all in the whole world! Nowwhere else I could find a better source for old charts!!

Without it I wouldn't know almost all songs from the past (I even know them more than many people who lived at that time, lol)!

That's why I was shocked when it didn't work the last days but now I'm happy that everything's alright again!!

I always liked to send you and - if your not alone - your team a message but there isn't any "Contact" part on the site...

I hope I can at least do that through this forum yet...

I have one question: I'm interested in Australian music charts & I'm fan of the 80's so I'd like to see the Aussie charts from

25 & 30 years ago today but on the "worldcharts" site we can only look for 40 years ago today and 20 years onwards...

what's the problem with the rest? Isn't there any source on the web to look for that information?!

Many Thanks for your comments.

As for the Australian charts. I only have them from October 1966 to December 1974 then again from September 1988 to present.

The charts in between these were published by someone else before ARIA formed.

I have been trying myself for some time to source them but without success.

I used to have my email address on the site but to it down because of the about of spam I got (not forgetting the viruses I received).

If you wish to contact me you can always PM me on this forum.
