Thanks Theo :D Lena's solo version of Not Following is on the album, Ellie gives it a lot more oomph in the choruses, I'm likely sending it to BJSC, it's not on youtube anywhere at the minute (because they won't let me upload it :drama:) but I'll put it on another host nearer the time! Agreed about Safura, it's good but the other one's a bit limp and forgettable :lol: I'm completely shocked at how well Gettin' Over You is doing in the UK :o good song though, I've liked all 5 of the singles from One Love now.

19. Really :o It's good but defines generic from start to finish. I prefer their albums with more personality, like Taller In More Ways. C&S was good too apart from the crap singles released from it :lol: Change was the only one that went to #1 in my chart but I never listen to it now :heehee:

Funny how a sudden, but deserved, boost in popularity can make you love a song all over again. I'm really happy that 'TSWABH' is midweek top 10 and hoping it can climb from its #9 peak. By far the best single Alicia has released from this era.

Another of the Eurovision songs due to enter tomorrow. Admittedly, this hasn't fared too well after seeing the semi final and live final performances. I still think it's a good song but it's not in my top 5 Eurovision songs.

Probably the biggest disappointment consider the amount of money thrown into Safura's campaign. Beyonce's choreographer - even if you're left thinking "that's the choreography?", and a big budget music video. Still to finish 5th is very respectable.

Iceland really deserved more at Eurovision but big Euodance tracks like this don't seem to appeal to the voting public. Shame as I thought Hera was vocally very strong.

Thanks Hits, yes I was right about Lena, thank goodness, the second winner in a row to go to #1 in my chart at least two months before the contest has even been held! And yes, her album has grown on me substantially this week :o A lot of the songs are very subtle, not bad exactly, just take a while to hit you as they're not as catchy as Satellite. But I gave it a more focused listen this week and I love it now! Hence two other songs from it entering my singles chart (including the former German top 5 hit Love Me :funky:). Will look forward to see where the ESC songs enter for you as I always do the week after ESC :D Yes Alicia was amazing on BGT, honestly the highlight of her career for me by a mile! Thank god it's about to go top ten in the UK, I was worried it wouldn't which would have been a travesty!
