30. FLO-RIDA FT KE$HA - Right Round [Peak - 6]

Guilty pleasure alert. Wonder what Pete Burns thought of it.

29. DAVID GUETTA FT KELLY ROWLAND - When Love Takes Over [Peak - 3]

Kelly really suits dance music better. Wish they hadn't overplayed this, it's unbelievably euphoric.

28. BLOC PARTY - One More Chance [Peak - 7]

Bloc Party at their creative best. A staple of all indie discos.

27. BEYONCE - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) [Peak - 1]

Highest placed Beyonce song, complete with a now iconic music video.

26. DIZZEE RASCAL & ARMAND VAN HELDEN - Bonkers [Peak - 2]

Extremely irritating now, but last year was all about this song in the clubs.

25. BLACK EYED PEAS - Meet Me Halfway [Peak - 2]

My favourite off The E.N.D. The X-Factor performance sealed this one for me.

24. SUGABABES - Get Sexy [Peak - 1]

I'm slightly embarrassed that "Get Sexy" was ever No.1. I do miss Keisha though.

23. BLACK EYED PEAS - I Gotta Feeling [Peak - 2]

I've heard this song so many times than when I hear the opening bars I cry. I hate it now.

22. RIHANNA - Russian Roulette [Peak - 2]

I love this new "edgy" Rihanna and this video. She'll be high next year as well.

21. CASCADA - Evacuate The Dancefloor [Peak - 3]

I still love this, even if it is rather chavvy.

20. LADY GAGA - LoveGame [Peak - 4]

Ah, so the Gaga domination of my chart has begun. This is the lowest peak of her singles ever.

19. KATY PERRY - Waking Up In Vegas [Peak - 5]

I love the video for this, it's probably why it's so high on this chart.

18. ALEXANDRA BURKE FT FLO-RIDA - Bad Boys [Peak - 1]

Alexandra is the best thing to come out of X-Factor. Love her album and this song never gets old.

17. CHERYL COLE - Fight For This Love [Peak - 1]

Ah, Chezza. Yes, she can't sing, but this song is undeniably awesome.

16. FLORENCE & THE MACHINE - Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) [Peak - 3]

The flame-haired one is my favourite new act of last year. Can't wait for the follow up.

15. THE VERONICAS - Untouched [Peak - 1]

Gotta love those violins.

14. LILY ALLEN - The Fear [Peak - 2]

It's amazing how quickly I went off this song.

13. LADY GAGA FT COLBY O'DONIS - Just Dance [Peak - 1]

Ahh, the song that introduced me to Miss Gaga, way back in July 2008 finally peaked in Jan 2009. The rest is history.

12. THE KILLERS - Spaceman [Peak - 1]

This must have been released in a quiet time of music. God knows how it got so high.

11. KELLY CLARKSON - My Life Would Suck Without You [Peak - 2]

I love this song, shame it missed out on Top 10. Her songs are just perfect for screaming.

Well, the Top 10 has 3 entries from a certain Lady and also features a quiff and a small pair of shoes.

10. GIRLS ALOUD - Untouchable [Peak - 1]

Yes, the radio edit is somewhat butchered but it is still 100000x better than Cheryl's solo output will ever be.

9. LA ROUX - In For The Kill [Peak - 3]

Cheapest video ever? I don't care, truly amazing song.

8. LADY GAGA - Bad Romance [Peak - 1]

This song was still at it's peak when last year finished, otherwise it would be without a doubt number one, as it has the highest points EVER on my chart. Song, video, live performance are all PERFECTION.

7. SHAKIRA - She Wolf [Peak - 2]

What a comeback. Awooooooooo.

6. LILY ALLEN - Not Fair [Peak - 1]

You gotta love naughty lyrics and this frankly unique tune always makes me smile.

5. BLACK EYED PEAS - Boom Boom Pow [Peak - 1]

When I first heard this, I knew it was an evolution in Hip-Hop. Now there's a million soundalikes, but this still is the best.

4. LITTLE BOOTS - Remedy [Peak -1]

Another bonafide RedOne production. I love Boots, think her single choices were a bit hit and miss however.

3. LADY GAGA - Paparazzi [Peak - 1]

My 2009 was dominated by Gaga. I've figured I've spent £150 on her in like 6 months! This is my favourite Gaga song as well!

2. LA ROUX - Bulletproof [Peak - 1]

Catchiest song ever? Love the video. I'm highly doubtful of the follow-up album however.

And the winner is...... (it's not really much of a surprise)

1. LADY GAGA - POKER FACE [Peak - 1]

From the iconic opening of the video to the fact that my grandmother likes the song (even if she sings "cherry pie" instead of "can't read my"), this song defines 2009. Absolutely can't get enough of it STILL, it's the most played song on my I-Pod.
