The danish rock scene has in the last couple of years been in a huge development and the quality of the bands has increased. No more AQUA! I think it's a pity that these bands haven't been heard outside of Denmark since many of them actually are very familar with many of the british/american alternative-rock bands.

 

This is just a topic where I'll post a song (official singles and iTunes available songs - no promos!) once in a while. If you are interested and want to listen to some great and - for many - unkown music - then go check it out sometimes - that won't hurt you! :)

It will not be a video/song spamming thread what so ever and it will not be on the page one every day - as I said I'll just post a video once in a while and you either just take a look or just ignore it :)

 

I just thought, since this site has discovered many new bands for me, I would give something back. Perhaps some people will discover some new music which they like.. :)

You're very welcome to discuss the songs whether you like them or not.

 

If this thread is breaking any rules, just give a message and I'll delete it.

I listen to a lot of Swedish/Norwegian/Finnish Metal/Rock/Industrial bands, but not heard very much from Denmark tbh.... Any bands like Dark Tranquility, In Flames, HIM, Nightwish, Amorphis, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Mortiis, Combichrist, Apoptygma Berzerk, Covenant or Darkthrone I should be listening out for....?

Hm, not really that kind of music I listen to and I don't know many danish metal bands, but Volbeat is probably the first band that comes on my mind. Don't know if it's metal enough :)

 

They are pretty huge in Germany too, I think.
