Wonder if she will have a relapse at Rock Week if there is one this year ;)

Think the voice is the last thing she needs to worry about, she needs a good few meals inside her, Victoria Beckham is Vanessa Feltz compared with her :o

now that I agree with- she is really skinny! :o

HAVE THE FINAL 12 BEEN LEAKED YET?

Ah screw it, found it after a quick google search.

No surprises at all. All the people I like going through for once.

I just looked too, I'm pleasently surprised by this list. I quite like most of them.

There's just one person I'm missing really badly though :(

WHY ISN'T GAMU THROUGH?

These things normally don't bother me, but seriously, what the f***?

I have nothing against Cher. I think she's very talented, original and fresh and is something The X Factor has never seen before. But seriously Buzzjack. You ALWAYS do this. Find some female to idolise and practically rape across the board. It's so bleurgh to read. She's not the messiah.

I personally think Aiden and Nicolo are fantastic and The Reason. If that Final 12 list is true and they didn't make it through I'll be quite gutted as they're the best group I've seen really. Also Rebecca Ferguson makes me just want to cry and hug her. I think it's the fact she has no confidence whatsoever yet has such a genuine and breath taking voice. It was all probably manipulated to make my emotions go PMS-esque but still it worked. She strikes me as a cross between Leona Lewis and Alicia Keys.

Oh and Mary's 'dancing' made me love her even more.

Heres who I'd like to go through from each category:

Girls: Cher, Rebecca, TreyC

Boys: Marlon, Aidan, Matt

Over 28s: Storm, John, Mary

Groups: The Reason, FYD, New Direction

I really don't see why they needed to change the Overs to 28+ though. All it has done is made the Girls and Boys stronger and the Overs a lot weaker

Marlon and TreyC would have had more chance in the Overs

I agree though I think it's always about the Boys & Girls tbh which is probably why they lowered the age to give some of the stronger 'older' singers a chance. I personally think the groups are the weakest this year. Dire selections if those weird foreign Jedward wannabes and Diva Fever can get through.

If it was still 25 though ... and we went on the best singers from that category ... I think we'd find that there'd be no-one in the 'over 25's category who was over 30. Seriously ... anyone over 30 is in this as a token gesture because no way on god's green earth are they going to win.

They should really just make it young girls, young boys, groups and 25 - 30. Anyone over 30 should take their chances with Britain's Got Talent. We know from the reactions of Louis and Simon in the past ... that the 'overs' category is a joke to them (unless you're over 25 but under 30).

Not so sure, look at last year a rock week and a Queen week, neither ever happened before and both were without doubt bought in because Simon was mentoring Jamie Archer who was in his mid 30's, think he was 37 or something plus Simon bent the rules to let him sing a U2 song in big band week, he seemed to be taking Jamie very seriously last year

They should change the rules to the best 12 acts regardless of who or what they are and scrap the catergories, if no groups are good enough then tough $h!t none of them get in the finals, if 11 girls and 1 boy or vice versa are the best 12 then so be it, it's ridiculous that some amazing talents fall bybthe wayside to accommodate a quota system

Well as long as Katie W doesn't win ... I'll be fairly happy with this year's results whatever. I mean ... I know that in the past some contestants have had slight advantages ... but this one takes the biscuit.

PS - I agree with you on the best acts should go through ... regardless of category - and then the four judges should be given dibs or draw straws for which three or four acts they are to mentor.

X Factor this year is so rigged for Cher to win that they are making it blatant now, might as well call off the contest

Day after day sob story after sob story is being leaked about her, first her frailness then her throat and now the death of her uncle, all planted out there by Cowell/Clifford in order to get the public to feel sympathetic towards her, chances of her being voted out by the judges in a bottom 2 shootout are zero, X Factor = karaoke WWF

As ever, I'm fully behind Dannii :cheer:

Is that scruffy looking guy, can't remember his name but he did Amy Winehouse for his audition, in her categeory?

"Meanwhile Simon, right, has warned the contestants that he is BANNING "sob stories". Acts in previous years have, he claimed, droned on with tales of heartache to win public sympathy. He said: "What we're trying to avoid is 17-year-olds coming up with pathetic sob stories and singing songs that are too old for them in the hope that they're going to be popular. I don't want this to be a popularity contest.I think it is important that it remains a talent competition."

And yet the headline next to it on The Sun website reads.....

Agony for Cher as uncle dies age 34

X FACTOR favourite Cher Lloyd is grief-stricken over the sudden death of her beloved uncle Edward at the age of just 34.

Singer Cher, 17 - already plagued by sore throats and feeling the pressure of the ITV1 show - is being comforted at home with her family

So it's ok for 16 year olds to do it ? -_- -_-

Well, it's hardly Simon's or the XF producers's fault if Cher's uncle died, and it's quite obvious the press would jumb on such a story.

As long as the X Factor don't milk in on the live shows (and I don't think they will), you can't blame anyone for it.

So if sob stories are gone, does that mean no more vt's?

What else would they put in them to drag them out? :drama:

Of course the death of her uncle is sad but she should be judged entirely on how she performs in the live finals as opposed to her personal life but the way the media are reporting every aspect of her life while at the same time ignoring the other contestants shows to me that this years winner has been decided before she has even sung a note in the live finals thanks to media manipulation

Already the media have reported she had sex with 2 male contestants (Aiden and that blonde haired boy who's name I can't remember) to give her a "cool" image

They have reported about her weight

They have reported about her sore throat (there are a lot of colds going about it would be a miracle of nature if at least 1 other contestant doesn't have an illness atm)

They have reported about her uncle dying, sad though it is it all adds to the "heroic Cher" image that they are trying to build up about her

I just know in the live finals when she is maybe in a bit of trouble she will go "And this song is dedicated to my beloved uncle Edward who will be watching over me tonight" with tears streaming down her face

The fighting talk between the judges of course.

Louis: 'Cheryl thinks that she's got an easy ride, but this week is make or break for artist X, if they do it well it will put them through to the final, if they mess it up, it's all over' etc...the same boring rubbish every week in the VT's
