1. I updated mine for the first time in 6 months last week, there were 3 new entries; Lena - Satellite (#18), Salem Al Fakir - Keep On Walking (#65) and Leddra Chapman - Story (#97) :D

3. Oh cool, saw that it was on HMV, and to think I paid £17 odd to order it from Amazon Germany when it first came out :drama:

14. It's not one of her best singles is it :lol:

24. Yes me too apparently :heehee: It would sound much more generic in English I think.

30. It's got a more distinct chorus, an old guy sings the first half (which isn't as bad as it sounds) and then she sings the second half, very catchy! The whistling in Skinny Genes became a bit annoying for me personally...

33. It's 100 times better, seriously. Definitely worth having a listen to - without them I would have given up on the album completely.

42. Yes I liked that song too :D

49. Yes they did, Cheeky Holiday - I absolutely despised them, but did meet them once and have a signed single of theirs :lol:

1. Yes I know, generally if a song passes 8 weeks at #1 in my chart it goes into my top 20 of all time, clearly these songs mean a lot to me to have held my attention for such a vast length of time :lol:

How was I to know that Lena would win and then get a UK release when I ordered it 2 months back :drama: Anyway, they released Rybak's album here last year after ESC but iirc HMV were selling it for £20 - at least Lena's a reasonable price! Let me know if they've translated the booklet for the UK market because her 'thank you's' are in German in the booklet of my album!

30. Agreed. She was a very good live performer to be fair but very few of her songs were anything special or standout, this was the only one that really caught my attention. Do you know she's the daughter of Frances Ruffelle (UK ESC 1994)!!!

Her label have genuinely screwed this era over. They tried so hard, but it seems the ones that don't come across as too "try-hard" are her best. Poor girl. I feel she just wants this era over with herself. :(

 

Why is it in the last 2 years or so, the bonus tracks are stronger than most the material on the parent albums? Both Britney and Christina seem to have been the most notable! But I'm sure there are loads of others (probably one of my favourites too haha) that I've missed off.

I saw Anna putting her trolley away in my local Tesco car park :lol:

Agreed. The more simple songs are easily the best, rather than the rip-offs of other artists. I expect so, she could do with going back to the drawing board with something original and innovative or else she's over in my opinion. How weird is it that Stripped still sounds fresher than Bionic (and most of today's pop albums in fact) :mellow:

 

Agreed, very very bizarre. Glad I tend to opt for the deluxe versions usually :lol: I was quite gutted that White Diamond was an iTunes only song on Kylie's X actually, and the uptempo original which she performed on tour was never even released in studio form :( Only the ballad version was.
