This is quite good, first saw him on Jools. It's certainly better than Paolo Nutini... I think the "This Years James Blunt" is between James, Paolo and Ray Lamontagne :wub: Hopefully it will be Ray but I don't think he's commercial enough, though he is top 50 in airplay and his album debuted at 186 and has now gone top 20 so maybe...

I like Ray as well, :D James and Ray I'll buy, but not Paulo as his voice irritates me.

Quite a good song, like a classier version of Blunt, could easily see it top 5 if airplay picks up, probs not no.1 tho

I've just discovered that James wrote this with Eg White (Leave Right Now). No wonder it's such a hit with Will fans. Both have a simplicity about them but meaningful lyrics.

 

Eg has writing credits for 3 tracks on the album so I'll definitely be interested to hear more.

I think he sounds and looks remarkably like James Blunt actually. Almost like a younger clone of him.

 

Lets hope the album is as good as James Blunt's was.

For me James Morrison has a far superior voice & from the tracks I've heard I much prefer his lyrics. Looks more like a you Bruce Springstein to me.

I don't agree. JM's voice is nowhere near as distinctive and unusual as JB in my opinion. But he is quite pleasant to listen to and I hope he does well.

 

I like it. His video looks like something Will would do :lol: I think I may buy into this young man.

 

Where will it chart? Top 5 I think. There aren't many male singers around at the moment, apart from Will, whose voice I can listen to for than a few minutes. Paolo is good but I like this boy better.

I'm beginning to like this track a lot now, it has grown on me, bit James Blunt-ish, but its a well written track.
