Te new album of Rybak is out now. You can get to hear on youtube a lot of the songs from it.

I love First Kiss right now  : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A07uWGLkD3A

I do think i love the first album much more as this one (what i heard till now). I still keep listening to 13 horses an it is still epic like the first time i heard it .... Curious if on this album is anything comparable.

Got this album yesterday, it's strange because I like it but it's oddly less mature than his debut. 'Barndance' is pure novelty and some of the lyrics are a big step back from last time.
did anyone see what happened in Sweden? :kink:

Poor violin. :kink:

These rip-offs of various tunes REALLY put me off the album :/ I am talking about I'm In Love, 5000 Letters and Suomi. Is it even legal to do this kind of thing? :s

I'm REALLY rubbish at remembering tunes' titles but i am damn sure i heard all 3 of them before.

On another listen i changed my mind on 5000 Letters even though i'm still doubtful about that. However the other two are definitely rip-offs, and i struggle to remember the titles. :(

I'm nearly certain Tom will be able to give the answer on what I'm In Love rips off though  It sounds like a Pet Shop Boys track from 90's.

edit: Just saw the comment on youtube, i was right, this is ENTIRELY not his song

You're completely right actually on I'm In Love, it completely sounds like It's A Sin by Pet Shop Boys

Which one does each rip off?

Rybak's album (2010?)

Meladze's album (1996)

WOO. Thank you! I would never get to name that song

Hah, never saw this thread until now, sorry  I'm not Rybak's biggest fan, though he's better than Diva Bilan :kink:
