It wont let me listen - says I haven't enough band width - although their test shows I have - all I get is silence.

Well, it was a good interview even though she doesn't really like him. Too much of a bias to what happened 10 years ago though. He did get it over that he was in History of the Big Bands on the 29th though. Even if she kept missing out the 'Big'. Shame it wasn't live because it'd have been even better without her comments before she played the tape.

Much better interview than I expected. At least it got publicity for the show. Wonder if Michael Buble appearing in Manchester this week is affecting the sale of the tickets for The Big Band Show? Perhaps people who enjoy swing music have already spent their money. Sue

Meg, do you think the interactive seat plan for The Opera House, Manchester is up to date because it never changes? I can't believe nobody is booking a seat! Do you think they will cancel if it doesn't improve in the next week or so? Sue

More have sold since yesterday. I don't know how the sales will go. It's too far for me to go and hand out flyers so all I can do is wait. Let's have a look after the weekend. More people will have heard about it now.

Darlington seem to be doing OK now - just Manchester and Eastbourne to worry about. Woking isn't brilliant but not too bad. I've a feeling we'll get that one there as well.

The Glaswegian is a free weekly paper delivered to as many households in Glasgow as they can get distributors for. Every so often we stop getting it, and then it starts up again but it's usually freely available in libraries etc. too

That's good. Glasgow isn't doing badly at all but there are still seats.

 

Manchester and Eastbourne are the real problem

There was a similar competition to that in The Bolton News. What's annoying me now, is that Radio Manchester, who he did the interview for, isn't even promoting the show on their daily 'What's On' slots and yet they are advertising things for December! Also they repeat various interviews on other programmes throughout the week, but have they done this with Darius, NO. Sue

'When I Fall In Love' on radio 2 now. He sings this beautifully. And he got a mention of the History of the Big Band Tour.
