October 17, 201014 yr I think that the cd2 is what they are working on. David says the dvd would cost a lot and sell very slowly, so I doubt that'll be out be Christmas - I'd like to be surprised though. The last half of the evening was introduced as containing songs from Darius' forthcoming album. I just don't know how long it'll take to come forth. I did love the second half of this show. I wasn't expecting to but it is growing into a fine show. I've gone from being lukewarm about his new songs to really liking them. It's good to see him moving to them and they seem so much part of him. I've seen 3 shows and must admit, if I could travel easily, I'd be very tempted to see a couple more. Maybe next year Charles will come back and cover me but it'd still have to be somewhere I could get back to to put Mum to bed. That is the most important thing right now.

October 18, 201014 yr I know that Darius hasn't yet confirmed allthe other tour dates yet...but i'm soooooooooo tempted to go to the Croyden 1!!! :D ..........Just cant wait to see him again already. :wub: ....can NEVER get enough of him!! lol................Going to tyr and google how me and Bri could get there.....but Bri thinks that it might be too complicated for us to get to....esp after what happened on our way to Wimbledon! :( ..............Does anyone know what train or tube goes there from London?? :D .........I know its a long way of....but it dosn't do any harm to plan ahead..esp when it involves our Gorgeous man!! :D
October 18, 201014 yr Sharon - Croydon is very easy to get to from mainline stations in London...either Victoria or London Bridge and its only a 20 min journey. You want East Croydon station and Fairfield halls is just 5 mins (or less) from the station. As you can see I've just realised I can still log in here and managed to remember my password. So hello everyone....great show in Wimbledon, was lovely to catch up with so many of you.xxx

October 18, 201014 yr When he finishes at Eastbourne, he's been there done that - co-produced his own show - and can tick the checklist. First panto too - tick. Darius doesn't seem to care too much for repetition and doesn't seem to like doing the same thing for long. He thrives on challenge. He did a second run in Chicago but that was in a different theatre and with Bonnie Langford, a showbiz veteran. This time because he's also the co-producer, I think he should take the time to cover the UK with this show and establish the show, which could continue touring with someone else in the lead and Darius can then move on to whatever new project he has in mind - hopefully the promotion and release of his new album and subsequent tour. I think he should confirm all those dates and add more. He has fans all over the country who are unable to travel at will. He's been owing them a tour date for quite some time.
October 18, 201014 yr He will confirm dates when he knows what they'll be. Some may be the same. We willjust have to wait and see what happens.....and hopefully we wont have to wait to much longer :D ............Darius will announce the dates confimed or not, when he has decided what he wants to do ;)

October 19, 201014 yr Well I for one wish he would confirm, it is causing me a lot of bother because three of the dates are within striking distance of me albeit not close and have toyed with the idea of Eastbourne which is a long way for me and would be very expensive and I could then find the dates near me confirmed afterwards which would be annoying and as Baytree says the tour could continue with someone else fronting it. So think maybe I should give it a miss and just wait and see.
October 19, 201014 yr frustrating I know and a risk waiting to find out. I guess it depends on how successful this first part of the tour is.
