I love both but I prefer 'Naturally' and 'Round & Round' to most of Miley's stuff tbh. I adore Miley's album though, but she has the most annoying personality ever whereas Selena seems much more down to earth and well grounded. Miley's hype is sadly fading anyway, despite the material being really good, she'll probably flop after this album and the comparison to Hilary is probably a really good and accurate one.

By 'well grounded' do you mean BORING? She's a plain jane, just like nearly every other Disney starlet out there. I'm sure she's lovely but that does not an interesting popstar make. Miley is certainly interesting regardless of whether you actually like her. I don't mind Selena but she's had one and a half good songs. Miley's had about twenty.

Well obviously I do like her lol. :P I brought her album recently and is one of my faves of this year. She's interesting yeah, but still annoying imo, Selena only has that many good songs coz she's still in early stages - she has heaps of potential to be better than she is. I've admittedly only heard her two singles but I think both are really good.

 

I hope Miley does stay around longer, I just think she needs to be marketed a bit better maybe. I don't think the public are taking to this whole 'turned sexy' image .... but that might just be me.

I've never listened to either artists' albums, but single-wise, Selena wins hands down. Nasally vocals and singing about hoedowns is just appauling, not that Selena is superior by any account, relative to non-Disney pop acts.

 

Also, Miley talks like a trucker.
