This was Coldplay's first charting single, and one of the highlights of Parachutes in my opinion. I think this suffered as a fair few of you havent heard it. Shame, its a class tune!

To be honest, I thought that The Hardest Part should be last too :( The problem was that people put Shiver as 0 as it is less known. I think its a wonderful song, personally.

The opener from Parachutes, and another lesser known track to some. This was released in the UK on import, but helped boost album sales. The video (see the video thread) was animated, as Chris and the boys wern't avaliabe to star in the video!

This much maligned track has come in at 10th, out of 12. Deserved last to be honest. The video is vile, and it is the poorest track on X&Y. -_-

Shiver SHOULD be higher IMO.

This import only track, released in Europe is one of the most loved track from AROBTTH. Again, this was used as album selling fodder, but imo should have been a proper single. This track illustrates Coldplay's mature songwriting and Chris's impressive vocal range.

This was the song that first got my attention, as it was played before Yellow was released. Its such a haunting beautiful tune, and stopped me in my tracks when i first heard it. I have been smitten ever since! The video above is an acoustic version of Trouble, without the infamous piano hook.

I think Trouble deserved to be higher than Speed of sound :smoke:

So who do we all think the winner then; for me I reckon that Yellow will win.

I want the Scientist to win but i think we could be in for a shock and Talk will win :o

The lead single from X&Y, this was denied Number 1 by the Crazy Frog <_ a piano driven track this was sign that coldplay had further matured in their sound and showed slight change musical driection. is also biggest us single to date reaching number on the billboard hot>
