So after the 'Heavy Rotation'-fiasco, Anastacia has now left her record label, Mercury (as confirmed by herself on Radio 2). She's currently writing and recording for a 2011 album release (the first track has already been recorded), so hopefully she can find a new label.

Anastacia: "Not really to be honest with you, I don't really need one, cause I've been recording, and I could really put it out; but, if one seems to come by, and it seems right (laughs), I'll say yes. But I'll still do music,.. I'm doing it now."

Fantasic News Mercury Sucked big time ! She is a vocal Legend and they treated her dreadfully.

LaFace is distributed by RCA and Jive. But it's owned by Sony Music Entertainment.. Just like Epic, where Ana was first signed...

I don't remember asking for a full history :P :kink: but thanks for the info. So we don't want her signed to them.

Tbh, LaFace has been really good for P!nk! She never had a flop album. It wouldn't be a bad idea, even though LaFace mostly has rnb artists..
