Posted July 15, 201015 yr Boyband Damage confirm reunion tour Thursday, July 15 2010, 19:44 BST By Alex Fletcher, Reality TV Editor Source: digitalspy R&B boyband Damage have confirmed plans for a reunion tour after nine years apart. The group, who split up in 2001, will play a string of live shows and are considering releasing a Greatest Hits package. However, the band claimed that they currently have no plans for new material. Consisting of Emma Bunton's boyfriend Jade Jones, Noel Simpson, Coree Richards. Andrez Harriott and Rahsaan J Bromfield, the group released two studio LPs, Forever and Since You've Been Gone. Their biggest hit was a cover of Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight', which reached number three in 1997. "It was good times when we got together and just sat down talking. There was a lot of laughter," Simpson told BBC 1Xtra. Jones commented: "It seemed so easy. It's been such a long time since we've done anything but getting back together, it's like riding a bike. As soon as we got back together, everything just slipped into place. We're ready. I don't know if the world's ready for it but we're ready." The group appeared together earlier today at the launch of this year's Urban Music Awards. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you scrobble one of their songs on last.fm, the pic in your artists page won't be them but some metal band Love II Love iO82nI_CUak Forever i-ZRQDkPR7U Ghetto Romance ihy5VKq0g64 Love Guaranteed e0c9xiAv4Fg Edited July 15, 201015 yr by Mark.
July 15, 201015 yr I loved Damage back in the day but they were hardly relevant in the 90s compared to other boybands and didnt have the same 'hysteria' or fanbase as others did so not really sure who would actually go to a reunion tour! - Hope it goes well for them though!
July 15, 201015 yr I don't think I actually liked any of their songs. :\ I had both their albums but could probably only name a few of their single releases! 'Forever' was amazing though
July 15, 201015 yr They never really made a huge impact the first time round so i cant see that changing, if anything i think it will be a huge flop.
