August 27, 201015 yr Fizzy Pop..mentions both Bedlam and History http://myfizzypop.blogspot.com/2010/08/sna...kly-update.html just love the William of Young. :D Thanks Bev. We'll forgive the wrong location of the Vortex after such great write ups. How true is this? both mixes are a real testament to how versatile William is as a vocalist.

August 28, 201015 yr Author Electroqueer... Ok - so it's really NOT the official video, but it might as well be. Comedy writers and filmmakers the Dawson Bros were hired to make a 30 second "Black Light" trailer featuring new single "History" and they kind of ran away with the brief and made a crazy street dance film thing. But like I said, it might as well be the official video. Such a cool electronic pop song, really needs an official video....(cough, get on it Groove Armada)...http://zxlcreative.blogs.com/electroqueer/ I agree..the spoof is doing a good job thankfully..but i do wish there had been a big video for it. October 3, 201015 yr When is history officaly released? Hi - it was released on the 30th August. Groove Armada didn't promote it so it 'disappeared'. Such a shame because it got really good feedback as the stand-out track when they released their album. Edited October 3, 201015 yr by munchkin
October 4, 201015 yr Thats a shame, i thought it wasnt out yet as i had hoped it would have made the top 75.
December 8, 201014 yr Author Thanks to Julie (W4M) On Devoted.. Look at this! The success of hHstory is brilliant..and being used on two TV Shows in the US too..didn't know that! :cheer: The US Recording Academy has awarded the prestigious honour of a Grammy nomination, for Best Dance/Electronic Album, to Groove Armada for their critically acclaimed 2010 album ‘Black Light’. Generally regarded as the band’s best work and widely critically praised, the record was one of the most played of 2010 by 6Music and a #1 most downloaded dance album on iTunes and Amazon. ‘Black Light’ features many stand out hit singles, including ‘Paper Romance’ (featuring Fenech-Soler and SaintSaviour) ‘I Won’t Kneel’ (featuring Saint Saviour), ‘History’ (featuring Will Young), a top 10 most-downloaded electronic song on iTunes and Shameless (featuring Bryan Ferry) . Other highlights for Groove Armada’s ‘Black Light’ include major game and television licensing with ‘Paper Romance,’ the featured song on top global selling EA Sports title ‘FIFA 2011′ and ‘History’ in Warner Brother’s new show ‘Moving Target’ and long standing cult TV show ‘CSI – Miami.’Their video for ‘Paper Romance’ has already had over 1.5 million views on YouTube and the band’s last ever UK ‘live’ tour in October was a complete ‘sell out’ culminating with 2 blistering shows to 10,000 fans at Brixton Academy. December 8, 201014 yr Thanks Bev - isn't that great. I stopped watching CSI Miami - couldn't stand the awful scripts but will have to watch it again to listen to History - great exposure for Groove Armada and for our man - could be very good if he releases #6 over there - maybe that's the plan - hope it goes well for him  Edited December 8, 201014 yr by munchkin
