Posted July 16, 201015 yr News coming thinck and fast today. ..thanks to Willisking on D Great news fans! We're pleased to announce Will's fourth show of the year at legendary Jazz venue the 606 Club on 26th July. Requests for tickets/tables will be accepted by online email booking only from NOW until midnight on Monday 19th July. Once again the 606 Club will take all the requests that they receive during the booking-request period and allocate seating using a random choice method. So they will put all the applications in a big hat (!) and pull them out one at a time until the seating allocation is complete. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: * To keep things fair, if you made it to the first 2 shows, you will not be eligible to submit for this show. * Maximum of 6 places per person and are dependent on what tables are available. * Bookings to be online only - phone bookings will not be taken. * Booking will require a Credit/Debit card to confirm the booking. * The music charge will be £25 per person for non-members and their guests and given the nature of the gig we will be asking for credit/debit card details prior to the night in order to secure the booking. * Successful bookings will be confirmed by email from the club on Tuesday 20th July.

Along with @ClareMaguire who's cracking new album will be out soon! Edited July 26, 201014 yr by munchkin
July 27, 201014 yr No Adele I'm afraid. Lovely to see Ashley & Michael Gracey there supporting Will. Being lazy & copying my post over from Devoted. Last night outlived all my expectations. Will's voice was out of this world & his banter was hilarious. Staff were friendly & the food delicious. I'm sure people have others have already posted details of the gig so I'll add what was said by a jazz enthusiast I was talking to outside during the interval. She said she knew Ash Soan & jazz was her thing. She had a friend who was a saxophonist & travelled the jazz circuit with him. Ash had asked her to come & see Will & she said she was completely blown away by him & loved his sense of fun & how he was such a down to earth guy. I asked how Will compared to other jazz artists & she said right up there at the top of the pile, though she had previously dismissed him as just a pop artist. Loved the intimacy of the venue, seemed to be a fair split of fans, members and Will's friends both at the tables & in the bar. One particular older gentleman looked to be loving every minute of it. Thanks to Ros for inviting me a long to such a special evening, which will take some beating. Also Ros & Di for your company. Lovely to meet up with Jackie & Rosie again. Really hope everyone gets a chance to go to the club. Any local first timer should definitely go along & queue. There were only two people queueing last night & both were admitted during the gig, everyone else there had made a prior booking.
July 27, 201014 yr Thanks Gill, glad you enjoyed it. I think everyone lucky enough to go, is completely blown away by him and this jazz set. :D BTW, a little dickie bird told me that not everyone with a prior booking was a first timer. Now why doesn't that suprise me.

Glad you all had a great time TT ...it's our wedding anniversary at the beginning of Sept so would love to go around that time if he does another.

Will keep everything crossed for you for Sptember with missing out this time. Will's joy at performing has to be seen. He was born on that stage. He grinned all night & told everyone how happy he was.

There was a cryptic message about 'not all being first timers' on the 606 thread but that mysteriously seems to have disappeared now unless my eyes were deceiving me  I think nanny was only half joking when she said about a rise in sale of burkhas, and to be honest it wouldn't surprise me the length some fans will go to. If that's true though I just think that is incredibly sad and if there were peeps there who deliberately tried to flout the CLEAR message the 606 gave, they should be ashamed of themselves! Anyway, what an absolute pleasure to read so many first time reports from this one, the joy and excitement was palpable from their words, and were an absolute pleasure to read. Got me all excited for me seeing Will for the first time in months on Sunday!!! (a very pleasant and unexpected surprise  )
