People think I grew up with classical music. It's not necessarily my background. I grew up with pretty edgy music - Rush, Supertramp, Yes, Janis Joplin, the Dobbie Brothers, Creedence.

Celine's favourite part of recording a new album is the feeling she gets when the final product is complete. When her album is finished, she listens to it from beginning to end in the same order that her fans will hear it. Celine says that doing this makes her feel like a painter. She says it's like taking a step backwards and looking at a painting you just finished and it is that moment when you suddenly see and feel what you've created.
