Awful :o Haven't heard something that bad in weeks :o

so this is the kind of dance music R1 thinks is worthy of getting playlisted... they should be ashamed, awful.

The lyrics are not up to much, granted, but the beats never fail to make me tap my feet whenever I hear this tune on the radio :yahoo:

 

 

I started a new topic for this reason and the fact that I don't remember ever reading about a UK Funky record in this forum

This is what the kids are going bananas for though? You've got to admit his hooks are similar to Scatman from the 90's. It's just easily digestable pop music but with a cutting edge from the underground no?

just coz it ain't to your taste m8 :lol:, get with it, dubstep and dnb is the future :D

I've been hearing that for the last 10 years, its just never gonna go mainstream ;)

 

And there is good dubstep and drum/bass, and bad. This fits in the latter category

This is not dubstep or dnb at all. It's UK funky. I don't hate it but don't love it. There are million times better UK Funky tracks (Kyla - Do You Mind)

I know its not dnb. Funky? That's not a genre. There's funky house, but there's no "funky" genre on it's own.

I don't know if I could call it house but songs like that are always called UK Funky
