HMV have the release date for 13th November!

Available to pre-order already

:cheer:

I was hoping that they'd release in October so that the album had plenty of time to sell throughout the Christmas period though....

Great news :D I'm buying it on the first day I think, which is unusual for me. It should still sell well through Christmas though, despite being released quite late.

Slick's going to buy :yahoo:

What do you think the sales will be like?

I'm hoping they'll be really good, but I can see it flopping a bit compared to their other albums :( I just have a feeling that maybe not all fans want a GH and it won't sell too well, maybe 300-500k.

Ouch!

I think at least 500,000

Perhaps it depends on their lead off song

But they've had so many hits so surely it will sell well

Well I'm a bit sceptical, of course I'd love it if it did sell loads - but it won't sell more than platinum imo.

Course it will....I hope

4 albums worth of singles

And maybe the 3 new songs will be singles, with one being released in early 2007 :o

Plus tripe like Steps and Westlife's GH sold over a million

I'd think they would do well, a greatest hits would do well, BUT are they re recording all the vocals?

It's thought Heidi is re-recording the One Touch singles to replace Siobhan

But Amelle will only be singing on the songs she released with them, so Overload through to Ugly will be Mutya/Keisha/Heidi

Then Red Dress and Follow Me Home Heidi/Keisha/Amelle

Isn't it pathetic that Mutya doesn't let Amelle to replace her vocal.

I like it this way, we get the original hits on the GH this way :D

There's now rumours that the One Touch singles will be Keisha / Heidi / Amelle and NOT Mutya

This is because the OT songs were bought out by Island records, so as they own them they don't need Mutya's permission to re-record them, thats just for Freak Like Me through to Ugly

And Overload is rumoured to sound better than the original :o

ohhhh thats good then :D If they replaced Mutya's vocals then i wouldnt be bothered in buying it

They arnt tripe. Steps sold over 16 million and Westlifes sales stand at over 35 million - you may not like them, but they're not tripe.

Oh and back to Sugababes. I reckon the GH will sell between 300k and 600k. Most fans dont want a greatest hits and already have the singles on the 4 albums. I personally feel they might sell more copies of the GH if they put on Amelle's vocals on the previous singles - it would give the singles a new flavour - i know i'd certainly buy it if that happened, but it wont so i wont be buying.
AS I DONT BUY much of there stuff im all for a greatest hits with the singleson it been the same as they were when released
