Singing with a voice like that could and would have done a lot of damage... She has a tour coming up so she absolutely can't risk it. Not to mention her career. Yes, it isn't a huge tour I know but it is a bigger tour than last year, so it's not something small either. I don't find it fair that you're 'mocking' the fact her career's kind of non-existant right now although she's working really hard on projects in the meantime to get her name out there again alongside making an album, whilst going through emotional problems and whatever else. September 25, 201014 yr MEOW. These projects have not exactly put her name back on the map much really have they? She is trying but not hard enough. She has to work her arse off to repair the damage done. The UK was one of her biggest markets and most of these projects have been in Mainland Europe.

Touring, rehearsing for two different tours, promoting a tour, planning concerts, collaborations, acting in a film, writing an album, TV shows, gigs etc... That's not working her arse off? Are you serious?! Well I disagree, because she's human, I wouldn't be able to do half the stuff she's doing and I don't even have her health problems... Most things are by invitation only and seeing as she has gotten quite a few new upcoming things I think she's done pretty well. She can't simply call up the mainstream channels and say I want some publicity on your show. What else can she possibly do that's going to get her out there again bar an album? September 27, 201014 yr Author I am calm, I just feel like I should support her. Big things would only be an album and a world tour (mainly anyway). She's working on an album and wouldn't be able to sell out a world tour so she's not left with much choice. The projects she IS doing, however, are promoting her a bit, (Russia, Belgium, UK, Switzerland etc...) - They're not making her big again, I'll give you that, but they will give her a bit of publicity and some funds for album promotion, instead of her coming straight back with an album like HR, which flopped and nobody knew she was back. October 3, 201014 yr I'm with callum on this . It is impossible for her to fit any more in at the moment . Tv show judge , Movie , touring in Here Come the girls a sucessful show in its own rights , Working on her next album and her own UK TV show . What exactly do you want . Music has changed IT IS NOT 2004 there is no money in single sales anymore anyway . How do you measure suceess ? Award shows are fixed by big record companies its Bums on seats and advertising through video site where its at . And quite frankly I would not part with any money to see anyone in the charts at the moment . But I would always pay to see Anastacia . Who cars or knows who is at number one anymore . Time will be the greatest critic and I believe Anastacia will be loved longer than the majority of the rubbish thats in the charts at the moment .
October 3, 201014 yr True she is working hard but she is not doing the right things. All her focus really should be on the album and the tour. Singles are selling better than albums at the moment. Album sales are dire at the moment. (Well, Kylie's and Brandon's are pretty good) It all depends, she NEEDS to come back with decent music not what is in the charts right now. Sorry to bang on about her but Kylie came back with a "Classic Kylie" song in All The Lovers. It is her best selling single since Head and she got her 1st #1 in around 9 years.
October 3, 201014 yr I like Kylie as a person but I really don't like anything she has done recently her videos help to sell her music but no matter how well singles are selling or albums, there is no money in that format anymore . Anastacia has took back control of her career she is adding more strings to her bow by venturing out into other areas which is the smart thing to do at the moment . She has just gone through a divorce and deals with chrons (which is a hateful disease that can easily Kill you) and other things including heart problems . She is one of the hardest working celebs out there what exactly do you want ? I would rather have good music from her in her own time and her to stay healthy than at the top of what is pointless charts nowdays and her working herself into an early grave . Gaga is sucessful but 80 % of people Hate her and think she is a fake rehashing artists from the past so define being sucessful ? Success is relative to how you look at it . All I know is I can not wait for her new album .
October 3, 201014 yr Most people will disagree :P The whole point of a music video is to help sell the single it is promoting (and to lust after sexy people like Kylie and Brandon Flowers :kink:.) A big part of the money comes from Albums and Singles. What other format would you say is more relevant? It aint tours, no point promoting a flop album or single. Success is people buying your records, seeing you live and having longevity in the charts. Anatacia has that pretty much, she needs to know what people want, that is SPROCK. Charts aint pointless, if she does not do well, she makes no money and there is no budget for a fab tour. It all connects. I want a new album too. I also want her to have success with it, IE Top 20 single and Top 5 album as she had before.
