Jamelia legs it back

JAMELIA hasn't had a hit for almost four years - but that's all about to change.

The Brummie has signed a three-album deal with the label that brought us N-DUBZ.

All Around The World have snapped up the singer - leggy as ever, left - and I can see them turning her into pop royalty again.

The last time she scraped into the Top Ten was way back in December 2006.

She told me: "I'm really excited. I've been planning a return to music for a while.

"I'm going to be working with some amazing people on this new album."

Jamelia v ALESHA DIXON - that will make for a good old-fashioned chart battle.

Am glad that Jamelia has a label but this one has mucked around with Dannii so i hope they learn from past mistakes :(
I can't help but snigger. :kink: But seriously, I hope the music is great, as she's had some great jems in the past! :D
Well being signed to a label, is better than not, even if it is AATW. Im exited, but I dont expect she'll get much in chart sucess.
I'm actually quite pleased. AATW released some fab remixes of Dannii's songs so looking forward to hearing what they come up with for Jameila.

She will be fine.

Jamelia is not Dannii Minogue.

This label also did wonders with that N-Dubz group.

Dannii was much bigger when she signed to AATW, than Jamelia is now. Jamelia could've stood a chance on a better label but we've all seen how easily bad record label decisions can kill a career. I do hope it works out ok for her though.

Dannii's music is much harder to market than Jamelia's though. Status means nothing.

British urban music is doing pretty well, so I think Jamelia stands a good chance providing her material is top notch. And the label execs seem to love it, so who knows. I think there will be a huge push with this album, based on everything I've been told and what not.

I've just read from wiki that she signed up with AATW and let's hope that they won't promote her RnB material in club disco...
