Np tbh, I simply sent it as it was a song I loved, I'm really surprised it did as well as it did :w00t:

Oooooh exciting :D

Edit: FUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH  Congrats Phil :w00t:

Didnt realise it was Frank Darabont, I doubt it will be bad then, I just hope to God that they stick faithfully to the comics. Kick-Ass is a must read, better than the film, I still havent gotten around to The Dark Tower, you should seriously read The Walking Dead though, theres lots of issues now but they are a fast read, didnt know you were into comics.

I haven't read them so I can't comment on that aspect, but Frank Darabont is just the man, he wanted to adapt The Dark Tower into films but Stephen King turned him down, instead selling the rights to J.J Abrams <_< Thank God he sold it back in the end. You should definitely give TDT a read, Lost is heavily inspired by it (the scene in the pilot with Charlie getting high in the toilets is a complete lift from The Drawing of the Three, not to mention the whole Man In Black thing, and Charlie as a character strongly resembles Eddie. They also share themes as well, especially regarding destiny). Although, start with the novels before you move onto the comics, easily one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever. I've never actually read a comic before, I've really noticed them until recently when I've realised just how good some of the art and stories are. I will hopefully be getting all these things for my birthday which is coming up, and The Walking Dead is definitely on the list.

MEH. Congratulations to Ashton though!

I'd rather go with the 3rd placed down the history books. ^^

Well done to Ashton, thanks for hosting Tyron, makes a change for me to finish top 3, instead of the bottom 10

sorry but JJ Abrams  i keep meaning to check out TDT because of Lost/the fact Stephen King is a genius, infact i'll go look for e-books of it i can pirate so I can start reading soon, comics appear to be having a major resurgence atm, I think people used to think they were just superhero stories for kids, dont get me wrong thats how I got into comics, but theres so so much more to comics than that, especially indie wise the last 10 years, some f***ing stunning storytelling and design, you should read Scott Pilgrim as well, they are the best comics ever, ever, ever.

Well done Ashton! This has been rather exciting, and a very successfull night for New Caprica, 114 points and Top 25 (would have liked to have been Top 20 but you can't have your cake and eat it) although I wonder how high I would have come if I entered Flyleaf's biggest and most mainstream hit All Around Me. Thank you Tyron for being a great host.
