August 3, 201014 yr Great for Avicii! I hope it will be a hit and then come to other countries. But Avicii will probably have a hit rather with Bromance
August 3, 201014 yr Author I will post shortly also last week's chart, I'm a bit behind now, but I can tell you there weren't so many new entries either.
August 4, 201014 yr Yan's German chart comments - Issue date 23.07 Finally the World Cup has started to loosen its grip on the German singles charts. Still while some songs, especially those related to the German participation in the tournament, plummet, other show only slight changes or even, in the case of Shakira, remain firm at their previous week's positions. Thus, the official World Cup song is number one for a fifth week, while Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" becomes the first non-football related song to penetrate the top three in the last few weeks by jumping to #2 from #4. The retreat of the football songs leads the way to other relatively underperforming songs to make new peaks. So, Eminem's "Not Afraid" manages to finally enter the top ten at #9, after a slow chart entry at #20 five weeks ago. Kylie's "All The Lovers" also returns to the top ten and Rihanna's "Te Amo" reaches #11. The highest new entry (of only four) belongs to teen sensation Justin Bieber. Despite VIVA playing many of his videos, only a few have actually entered the chart and "Somebody To Love" manages to become Justin's second biggest hit in Germany to date. Let's pay attention also to 2raumwohnung's "36 Grad" (at #36!), which for yet another summer enters the Top 100 and as it seems is heading towards the top 30 in the next weeks. Perfect for the hot summer days, the catchy song has become, to quote a TV presenter, "Last Christmas" of the summer. The other two new entries worth mentioning can be found at #48 and #49, where enter the collaboration between German band Silbermond and the supported by them newcomers Jenix, while another German band Boundzound returns to the chart with the extremely hot "Bang".
