It keeps sounding better and better

A new Horror Series starring Will Young is hitting LIVING’S screens February 7th at 10pm.

Original, engaging and with the atmosphere of a horror film: Bedlam focuses around a group of twenty something friends, living in the most haunted building in Britain: a former asylum….

Will Young plays good-looking geek Ryan McAllister, Theo James (A Passionate Woman) acts as Jed Harper; a troubled man plagued with a history of madness and visions of ghosts, and Charlotte Salt stars as Kate Bettany; attractive, ambitious and sharp.

Bedlam Heights is a family business run by Kate and her father Warren (Hugo Speer) ; newly converted apartments that offer 21st Century living.

But behind the facade, lie unimaginable horrors….

The ghosts of Bedlams dark and violent past haunt the former pre-Victorian asylum. Gradually Jed uncovers the terrifying secrets held in Bedlam Heights.

He’s convinced Kate is in danger from the spooks of Bedlam, but unbeknown to him, the truth will be even more terrifying…

Keep up to date with the latest from Bedlam on the official Facebook page.

The characters are also live and active on Facebook:

They've spent a lot of time and money on this - I read £3,000,000. Hope it really takes off and there will be more series.

Yes..lots of money invested too from BBC America..they want it..there's a demand for this Kind ot British Drama out there. funnily enough i was reading about Primeval..it's ratings were falling so they were not going to bring it back..but BBC America invested in it as they have an audience for it there so it got another series. I'm really hoping Bedlam takes off in a big way here and there.

This was posted two days ago on the O/S by RosieB, not sure how it was missed as it's a good little snippet.

From MSN

TV's ones to watch in 2011

WILL YOUNG

Yes, Will Young is an established pop star. And one that has successfully shaken off his Pop Idol origins, but he's also been quietly building an acting career. He will star in Bedlam, Living TV's first original UK drama. The six-part suspense series might pave the way for bigger things as far as Will Young and TV is concerned.

They Mention Will and Bedlam any chance they get..look at this , 'Dairy of a call girl.'. Ashely isn't even in this show so far this year

When we first met Bambi (Ashley Madekwe) in season two she was a naive escort, new to the business. Belle mentored her, and Stephanie hired her, but it wasn’t the life she had hoped for herself--for one, she’d discovered her rate was often dictated by her race. At the end of last season she defied Stephanie and married one of her clients, a rich aristocrat called Byron. She’s nowhere to be seen in the fourth season opener, but if you want to see Madekwe again you can turn over to Sky Living on February 7 to see her play Will Young’s flatmate in Bedlam’s haunted house.

Part two is up on the Sky Planner..they don't give anything away of course..but like the easy on the eye comment and it's nice to see who else is appearing in it.

Written and created by former Hollyoaks scribes Neil Jones, David Allison and Chris Parker, Bedlam is a contemporary paranormal series set in Bedlam Heights, an apartment block converted from a pre-Victorian lunatic asylum. Its new easy-on-the-eye residents stir up the spirits of former inmates, who come back to reclaim what they believe is theirs...

Will Young stars in Sky Living’s first-ever British drama commission alongside Charlotte Salt (The Tudors), Ashley Madekwe (Secret Diary of a Call Girl), Theo James (A Passionate Woman). Hugo Speer (The Full Monty), Kara Tointon (EastEnders), Joanna Paige (Gavin & Stacey) and Sean Maguire (Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire) also make appearances.

My Sky mag had better come tomorrow! <_<
