Just starting to write the final episode of Bedlam. It involves 3 decapitations, a Norman castle and the ghost of Thora Hird. about 1 hour ago via web
I Hope Ryan isn't one of those decapitated!!!.. I expect the Thora bit is a joke for an old lady ghost?

TRANSMEDIA: CASE STUDY Candyspace prepares for Bedlam

Living TV has commissioned Candyspace Media to create a transmedia campaign around new drama Bedlam. The six-part series, to air in January, is produced by Red Production Company, stars Will Young and centres on a group of flatmates living in a converted asylum haunted by past patients.

Having previously worked together on an nma Effectiveness Award- winning transmedia campaign for Living TV's Supernatural, Candyspace is working with the channel's marketing team, creative agency The Brooklyn Brothers and media agency Manning Gottlieb to devise an integrated campaign including print, digital, social media and mobile.

"We'll work with Red to build interaction into the show itself," says Candyspace MD Tom Thorne. "There are opportunities for digital interaction to happen as the show is broadcast. Perhaps there are subplots that viewers can access on other platforms, like a phone ringing in the show but you can only hear the conversation on mobile or online. We're at the early planning stages and are beginning by collecting data about the show, its characters and audience."

The transmedia campaign for Supernatural is credited with securing pound 1.5m in additional ad revenue and wooing a lucrative younger audience to Living from the show's previous home on ITV2.

Thanks munchkin. Great to hear he has the band with him.

He doesn't do singing to backing tracks these days, thank goodness. :D I know Will probably offers his services for free but I would expect the band need paying. Wonder who picks up the tab?
