'Clap Your Hands' is excellent. First discovered this track a few weeks back when the song went top 10 in a couple of European countries thus making the Hitstastic European Top 30. After one listen, I was completely hooked. :lol: It was originally getting released this week (would've charted today) but perhaps wisely they've pushed the release date back to September 20th. This track is ace and deserves to be a mega hit.

I'm hoping that 'Clap Your Hands' can get some airplay on Radio 2 (at least) and that they start to show the video on the music channels. If people are aware of this track, I'm sure the song could at least go top 40.

This is by far One Night Only's best single to date. The soaring chorus and the addition of synths provide this track with more atmosphere than their entire debut album did. 'Just For Tonight' is their only other hit in my chart peaking at no. 9 back in 2008.

I've been introduced to Caspa thanks to a young lad whose joined the company where I work and he's based in my department. He's into all this dubstep music - some of it isn't bad whilst some others tracks just don't appeal to me whatsoever. I'm sure there were songs I liked aged 17 that a then 29 year old would've hated. What goes around comes around... :lol: I'm charting the original instrumenal version. There's another version featuring Mr Hudson but it's absolutely hidious (the vocals just don't fit the music at all).

I wasn't aware this track had been around for so long. :o First time discovering this track was when it went top 10 in Holland, Luxumburg, Slovenia (where it's still top 10 :D ) and Faroe Islands hence why 'Clap Your Hands' collected enough points to enter the HET30 a couple of weeks back. Then I saw the track listed on the release schdule as due for release this week and went straight to my Pre-Release Chart. Then Mikey pointed out it had been entered into BJSC by Tyron. :w00t: Now I find out you charted 'CYH' back in 6/7 months ago. :lol: If it isn't a UK hit, Sia will become the Marit Larson of 2010. :( However, it's release date has been pushed back to 20th September so there's still hope. ^_^

Well, I do like 'Green Light'. If anything, it's grown on me from when I first heard it. Still think 'Good Times' was more catchy and was far more instant. Problem is, if 'Green Light' is no. 1 today in the UK charts it's already toppled down to no. 3 on iTunes so for the third week in a row we've had a new UK no. 1 whilst 'Love The Way You Lie' maintains its sales but sadly fails to hit the no. 1 spot. It's 'Lose My Breath'/'Better Off Alone' all over again. :lol:

:lol: That's the injustice. Eminem gets to no. 1 with a really terrible song in 2004. Six years later releases one of his best tracks and ultimately stalls at #2 :lol:

 

There's been a few British "rock" acts and artists that have experiemented with the synth sound and just haven't captured the general publics attention. The Hoosiers 'Choices', Kele 'Tenderoni' and now One Night Only. At this rate, Brandon Flowers (ok, he's not British but still :P ) debut solo single will fare a similar fate next Sunday when 'Crossfire' enters low top 20. :(
