09 (10) Amy Macdonald ~ This Pretty Face ~ 4 [32-29-10-9] Better than the last single I suppose but I still didn't like it enough to make my top 50 :drama:

10 (23) Ellie Goulding ~ The Writer ~ 2 [23-10] Nice to see this go top ten! My favourite single of hers so far

01 - Yep, their third now. When I first heard the song I never thought it would be a number one on my chart, but I've grown to love it now!

09 - It's grown on me quite considerably. The album is still as bland as ever though :lol:

10 - Another song that I've grown to love this week. I wasn't keen on it before, but it is really nice

53 - I thought you had charted it before, unless that was something else? It's a Jack Johnson kind of acoustic number. Quite decent, but only charted this week due to it being a quiet week.

59 - That is a surprise! I had heard they were releasing another single here, and was hoping it would be Not Following. This will do absolutely nothing sadly :(

My chart will have Eurovision entries on it for months to come I can assure you :P

01 - Wow, I don't think I have any acts who consistantly got to number 2 without a number 1 hit :unsure:

59 - Oh dear, that would be awful. I really hope she has a good song, but I think it could well be a let down as there's so much pressure to find the perfect song.

It's starting to become strange now - they always jump from #10 to #2, and can then never capitalise and go a place further - to add to that, they're not the sort of act that dive down my chart - 2-4-4 for example for Missing You, whereas others go 2-5-9 or something...they hae a lot of strange quirks for me!

59. Exactly, it could be 'the sophomore slump' for her, seeing as I'm assuming it will lead her second album!?! I can't imagine her coming close to winning again, the whole contest sounds like it will be engineered to be a shrine to Lena. She'll be performing Satellite obviously, and then get to perform another entry of hers later in the show :lol: Overload!

Good to hear Caro has been added to radio playlists in Poland, and yeah it is the same Ola from SOS and Feelgood fame :D

It wouldn't surprise me at all :lol: She seems to be a national hero there, a la how Cheryl Cole is here. Imagine if we got Cheryl for our Eurovision, they'd flaunt her at every possible opportunity, so I'm sure Germany will give Lena maximum exposure! They clearly want to turn her into the next worldwide ESC superstar. It won't happen but she might be a two hit wonder if she's very very very lucky. Johnny Logan then, rather than ABBA :lol: At least she can make a career out of popping up at every national final going and 'critiquing' the songs like he does.
