I like Example and Chipmunk, not TOO fussed to see them crash out though. But surprised at Paolo being so low - not fussed mind.
He is 71!!

Unbelievable. :| Typical BJ.

This. How someone like Tinie Tempah or Bieber can be above legends like Mick Jagger, Sinatra and Bob Dylan is unbelievable. However, I didn't vote so I can't moan so I'm going to shut up

For once, we are in FULL AGREEMENT. A total wtf?

Whats even worse is that Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Mick Jagger and Ben.E.King are also below him

It's the first of two McCartneys on the list and arguable one of the most photogenic 100 male artists, previously a member of defunct boy band Dream Street, McCartney as found fame as a solo singer, songwriter & actor, appearing in US series Greek. Although his own songs aren't as popular here as they are in his native US, the song he penned with Ryan Tedder, Bleeding Love, was an amazing success. Sang by Leona Lewis, the song topped the charts in the UK, USA & Japan (being the first song to do so since Candle In The Wind) as well as several other countries. McCartney won the grammy for this song. Not just a pretty face.

Sam Cooke was an earlier pioneer of soul music, often recieving the accolade King Of Soul, although his music career was short-lived as Cooke was shot dead (sadly one of handful on this list), Cooke's music goes on to inspire people today and throughout music. His memory lives on.

Cooke finishes higher than Jesse McCartney as he had more votes.

Jimi Hendrix is one of the most famous male artists of all time, known for his singing, songwriting and producing. Most of all he's known as an electric guitarist, and is often cited as on the best ever. The epitomy of cool, Hendrix's musical career was also tragically cut short after he died at the age of 27 in unconfirmed circumstances. He will be remembered as a brilliant musician and the headline act at the famous Woodstock festival.

Jesse McCartney - he's ok, but not done alot, apart from co-write the amazing Bleeding Love

Sam Cooke - has some amazing songs, 'A Change Is Gonna Come' is a brilliant song.

Jimi Hendrix - Love Voodoo Chile, don't know alot of the others tbh but he is obviously a legend of some sort.

Basshunter finishes higher than Hendrix because of more votes. Yes, Swedish producer/singer/songwriter has landed himself a position of 70 on the Buzzjack countdown, he is most famous song is Now You're Gone, a reworking of his original song, Boten Anna, which topped the UK charts for five weeks and became the 95th best selling song of the 2000s, subsequent singles followed from a total of five albums, none really matching the success of NYG. So does Basshunter, CBB contestant extrodinaire really deserve a place on the top 100, IMHO, no.

Favourite Song: All I Ever Wanted (from Now You're Gone - The Album)

I do like some of Basshunters stuff, his lastest single Saturday was really good, but he's not that good

We all know why Basshunter is there ;)

Jesse McCartney..I almost gave him a vote because he's probably the best male solo pop act to have some success since Justin Timberlake. Leavin' is a great song.

Weird to see Sam Cooke higher than Bob Dylan (still can't get over that)

OK I didn't vote, so please feel free to throw abuse at me if you wish, but Basshunter, bloody Bassunter finishing above Jimi Hendrix.

Basshunter above Jimi Hendrix is of course laughable- but I suppose it was inevitable as he is a legend, but as this website is mainly young people and Jimi Hendrix's prime time was mainly before most members on here were born!

These results so far are shocking.

That is all I will say.

looking at the lounge topics, most members that post there seem to be college/Uni students with a few in school and of course, although the admins and mods are adults most likely (I am a college student)

so I would guess around 16-27?

Andy Bell has climbed since nominations stages, not sure why, the main reason I voted for him originally was the fact that as a singer he is distinctive and iconic of a generation, as part of Erasure, Bell has achieved worldwide fame, with his falsetto voice and synth-pop music.

Like Bell, Bryan Adams has had a climb since nominations to get 78 points, however more people voted for Adams. Not surprising to see him this low on a Buzzjack list however the man's musical accomplishments can't be denied. The more famous songs Heaven & Summer Of '69 are still radio regulars, as is his duets with Spice Girl Melanie C (When You're Gone) and Chicane ( Don't Give Up). He will be remembered as the man who recorded (Everything I Do) I Do It for You which is the longest-running consecutive UK Number One single, keeping the top spot for 16 weeks, earning an Adams a place in the history books.

Favourite Song: Summer Of '69 (from Reckless)
