Posted August 26, 201014 yr Rrn6BbM0TRQ Love it or hate it, where do you think it will chart? They didn't get a number one off the last album but this song's got good reviews and it's been A-listed on Radio 1, so could it get them their next Number 1? I've never done a poll before, hope this works lol Edited August 26, 201014 yr by mango7
August 26, 201014 yr hummm... Katy Perry, Alexandra Burke, Eminem/Rihanna, Taio Cruz & McFly. That'll be the top5 in three weeks, I reckon. "Party Girl" probably hit #3, but it's a very strong contender. I didn't like McFly before, and quite like this tune. :o
August 26, 201014 yr It just sounds like Mcfly do JLS, they are way better than this but I think it will be Top 10.

No - they relied on physical sales in the past, but they can't any longer. Their fanbase will get them top 5, but their usial 35-40k just won't cut it nowadays. Also, even for them this song is weak. August 26, 201014 yr This is so much better than anything JLS have put out :) Talk about damning with faint praise... :P
August 26, 201014 yr Not at all Beat Again and One Shot are very similar plus I hear autotune. It's a more synth driven sound for them. They are a band not a boy band. Sounding like JLS (i can't hear it myself) isn't a bad thing. They are absolutely huge and considered the only success story from xfactor in their year. Edited August 26, 201014 yr by -Desire-
August 26, 201014 yr I think this isnt just another typical mcfly song, they've clearly changed their style and I think this could help it- number 1 is a big possibility if nit, certainly top 3, competitive week though Its not a bad song either, if not anywhere near their best
August 26, 201014 yr "considered the only success story from xfactor in their year." Love it! Yeah they dont sound ANYTHING like JLS, silly comment to make, but hey. Erm, i think its okay, i prefer some of their other stuff, looks like they're playing very safe, vampire theme, about partying & only comparison i can see with them to JLS is that they've been working out alot. Top 10 for sure due to fanbase, probably top 5, at a push top 3.
August 26, 201014 yr I'm really unsure about this going to no. 1 - McFly's no. 1 singles never really had massive sales, except 'All About You' which was a Comic Relief charity single. Taio Cruz is doing so well this week I reckon 'Dynamite' is still going to be selling really well in a fortnights time. Then there's the new releases from Olly Murs and Katy Perry next week. Top 3 is possible but I'm going to predict #4 stuck behind the three artists already mentioned.
August 26, 201014 yr Top 5. I dont think they've still got the selling power to get a #1 or a top 3 really. It's definatly one of their best to date though and deserves some succes at least.
August 26, 201014 yr The video is so expensive-wannabe but still seems cheap. As for the song itself, as I've already posted somewhere, it's very good and catchy even it's SO Taio-esque! :P I hope it goes top-5. And I think it will get at least there and won't have that branded 'McFly chart-run' thing.
August 26, 201014 yr #1 It's McFly - and it's an extremely strong comeback single. How many sales do you think???
