Posted August 30, 201014 yr We know we're far from perfect, but we had a good time and raised quite a lot of money for St Andrews Hospice Neither of us are D or sound remotely like him, so don't be disappointed ok :) Hopefully we will go and do it again, and try and improve on our first effort, though overall I'm quite pleased with my first ever busk :) IpwMdtv6XcA MpKLtgXXI8I RfDFhxMHw9w F8VCdzy3lhg hX6PJIsKtYk ZRp3VVHDxbo Tfg4Nlwredg
August 30, 201014 yr Excellent, Paul. I've watched 2 and half of most of the others when youtube froze and wouldn't let me watch the other halves. I'll go back tonight when youtube is not as active. You would never guess it was the first time busking. Well done. Edited August 30, 201014 yr by megham
August 31, 201014 yr Well done Paul! I especially enjoyed Cathy's Clown. You have every right to feel pleased with yourself and next time you will have even more confidence. Sue
August 31, 201014 yr Author I think I like Suspicious Minds best Thanks Ladies :) Over the last few weeks, each time I rehearsed Suspicious Minds I'd liked it less and less. On the busk videos, I think it's my best performance, though as I said, none are anywhere near perfect. If we venture out again, I'll try and pic some which suit my painfully high voice better. Really wish I could sing deep like D :( Just waiting for a total from the charity people now. Lots of people contributed so we're hopeful of a decent total. I hoped we'd raise at least £50, but I'm confident we've raised over £100 and my firm and some others are making contributions too, so should be a good final total :)
September 1, 201014 yr Author ...where've you been hiding, well done :D you managed the songs very well :) Thanks :) Hiding? :???:

September 2, 201014 yr Author Just had the total raised on the day briefed to me and we collected £358.62 :o I knew we'd done well but never imagined it could be as much as this :) We have a few company cheques to come, which could total as much as another £200ish, so that will be over £500 raised :)

October 8, 201014 yr Author Well done Paul ...... I enjoyed the vids. Nervous ? Well, it certainly didn't show. Good luck with your photo - hope you win a prize. http://www.ephotozine.com/photo/1645059 Editing to say I tried to vote for your photo but it seems you have to join first, Thanks Bramley! I posted the pic to my portfolio and members can vote if they like it, but there's no prize unless you enter one of the site's competitions. Just received the final total from St Andrews and it's £543.62 :) Not bad for a first time busker and his musical friend :)
