Apart from her comeback single Gabriella Cilmi has flopped. Kaci Battaglia erm all i can think of right now

I wouldn't say Kaci Battaglia - she's a relative unknown who last had a hit about ten years ago. Was anyone really expecting big things there?

Christina is the obvious one I agree.

Christina Aguilera, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gabriella Cilmi.

Also I thought Alex Gardner and Sky Ferreira would have top 10 debut singles and probably be one hit wonders in the Sam Sparro type sense, wasn't to be.

*Edit - forgot Sugababes, they had flop of the year just like they did with their last album.

Sabrina Washington?

I never thought she would be massive.

daisy dares you, fugative ^^ even though they wernt big anyway
I dont see how new artists can be said to have flopped. Sky Ferreira, Alex Gardner etc, didnt have huge expectataions or past success to be compared to.
Klaxons :(
Klaxons :(

Nothing strange here, their new album is beyond AWFUL.

Chris Brown & Kanye West :heehee:

I expected Daisy Dares You to do quite well.

Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera, Sugababes...

Marina wasn't as big as I expected

But she didn't flop anyway. Album sales are healthy, she got 3 top-40 hits... No, she's not a flop artist, it's a success from the music field she went.

I would not say flopped but should have done far better with the material they have had but Adam Lambert Sabrina and Lissie should have had charted better.

Biggest flops of the year though Mini Viva-what happened there?

You'd have to say Taio Cruz with No Other One. Very bizarre hit and flop scenario. Huge No1s either side of a No42 single (not including Top 10 with Ke$ha).

Christina Aguilera hands down has the flop of the year (so far).

I'm not sure anyone will manage to top the colossal failure of her latest era this year...

I wouldn't say Adam flopped. Nobody really gave FYE a chance in the UK. A non-performing slot on Jonathan Ross shot FYE up to #22 (from #40+) on iTunes. Says it all really. Potential unfulfilled. Plus it wasn't released in one anticipated week, it was available from November.
