Does anyone have any information on this? On how much an artist makes from physical sales, and how much they have declined in the past x-amount of years, and how much artists make now from physical sales in comparison to how much artists make from download sales.

 

It's for c/w, and help would be much appreciated :D

I'd guess it's Maxi Cassette Singles.

I thought early 2000s sales were higher then 2008/09.

The Number 1 sales might have been but because a lot of tracks are now available to download (cherry picking from albums and classic oldies) downloads are selling a lot more than physicals were in the early 00s.
