I think so too, i do like 4 minutes but it wasn't classic Madonna.

I would have released Give It 2 Me, Beat Goes On, Miles Away & She's Not Me as singles for Hard Candy.

I knew I would forget one!. I would have said Candy Shop as the first single as it's an introduction to the album and sets the theme of the album up perfectly & it would get higher sales being first rather than 3rd or 4th. Because of the delay & leak of it I didn't put it as a single but I do really love this song.

 

Give It 2 Me is a brilliant single choice and I loved the boxing theme and the "give me your best shot" attitude.

 

Devil.. Would have been a great choice this is the one I forgot to add it's very dark but beautiful just like The Power Of Good-Bye.

 

Just a bit of trivia for you. Did you know Hard Candy's original name was going to be Candy Shop but warner wouldn't let her because of the 50 cent song & Then Madonna wanted it to be called Give It 2 Me but they still wouldn't let her because of the timbaland track. Actually I prefer album titles that are not song titles.

Also, Devil would be great in showing another side to the album :D

Yeah, that's true but it would all depend on the promotion. As Miles Away was a change of direction but they did nothing for it.

I know, I was quite sad to see it flop

Ironically, Miles Away is one of her best ever songs imo. But they couldn't be bothered to promote it in anyway but they just went for the money in her tour. Atleast Miles Away hit #1 in Spain.
