Posted September 3, 201014 yr Hello? How on earth can a wedding song be predictable and overplayed when you are only supposed to have one wedding in your life? That makes no sense. Although I guess if you go to a lot of weddings, you tend to hear some songs over and over and over again. That's why Time magazine went ahead and compiled this list of what they call predictable reception tunes. And on it, there are two country songs that I love and if I was going to get married all over again, I'd cut out all the timeless classical crap and make these my first-dance tunes. One is Lonestar's "Amazed." Who doesn't want to hear "I'm so in love with you/It just keeps getting better/I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side"? Then there's Shania Twain's "From This Moment On." The chorus alone is perfect for newlyweds. "From this moment I have been blessed/I live only for your happiness." Call it predictable, but that is textbook wedding sentiment right there. Source: CMT
