This film is oddly great. Trailer;

I have it on DVD, naturally  Delta's actually outshone in the acting stakes by Saskia Burmeister, but it's a decent time passer with a brilliant soundtrack iirc!

I've never seen that second trailer - love the fact that they put some Hollywood voiceover on it.

I didn't know it was released in Portuguese(?) speaking territories.

I watched the film for the first time in ages a few weeks ago - it wasn't as amazing as I once thought it was, but there are several amusing moments.

It really didn't deserve to flop though. :(

delta should have never done this low budget mess of a movie or worn that horrid wig. big let down for me, she is can do so much better
I remember seeing a trailer for this at the time, but yes, it has been largely forgotten and with good reason by the looks of it. No offence Rich :P

 none taken! It's a guilty pleasure :kink:

Not actually because of Delta mostly. The main character, Erica, comes across as a lot more realistic. I agree with Nate that the wig didn't really suit her though, too big and light.

It looks great but i can't find a link to download it so far (after 5 minutes of searching  )

Nevermind found megavideo link  Will watch it later. <3

And the aussie accent is actually wonderful. I rarely watch anything Autralian. Maybe Phil would want to recommend something? :kink:

I was sure that Delta starred in more than one movie though :(

She became famous through the Aussie soap Neighbours, so maybe that's what you were thinking of? Is 90% of the reason she became popular initially in the UK I expect.

Nah, i thought she'd had a role in a proper movie. :(

The TV series' Underbelly, Thank God Your Here, Good News Week :kink:

Apparently there is an Australian version of Come Dine With Me :o :w00t:

That's all i've got for you.

I'm trying to persuade my housemates to watch this with me at some point  They're still reeling from the fact that I have Scooter on my iPod though so I'm not exactly known for credibility round here - and making them watch this film might disolve any last shred that I had.
I still haven't watched it. And i lost the link when i 'moved' from Win7 to XP :(

Wait another couple of months to let them get over the scooter shock [nice one, i do love a bit of scooter too] then spring it on them ^_^

Its worth re-googling.

Why did you go back?

I own their greatest hits (which is shamefully amazing), and their last album too (which was crap). Nessaja, The Night and The Logical Song are classics, and I loved Jumping All Over The World too. There's room in everyone's life for German techno :funky:

My mother has the latest album, and possibly most of the others somewhere illegally.

They are all classics, and i'd go as far as saying JAOTW is so nu-classic.

 oh dear, I knew we shared music tastes 99% of the time so I don't know why I should find it strange that we both enjoy listening to Scooter!

I do find the lead singer a bit odd though, he's about 50 and still acts very 'street', I guess he's just Germany's Tim Westwood

Yeah i guess i will manage to find it. But the question is when i will have the mood to watch it?!

Because I thought reinstalling Windows will fix my problems concerning burning CDs/DVDs. But it didn't matter. :( I LOVED Win7, it was SO LESS BUGGY. It NEVER in 7 long months gave me an error when i opened a folder full of movies and killed the 'explorer' process on its own. Nor it never even froze (where only a restart helps) unless i did some malicious stuff.

XP SUCKS COCK.

If nothing else, think of the wonderful Australian accents you will get to encounter for two hours  and the soundtrack is great too (imo), I think Hilary Duff is on it though which loses a mark :( But it's Come Clean which is her only decent song, so half a mark gained back.
