Hey Hits! I listened to the ATB song in your pre-release chart, didn't think much of it to be honest :( I'm sure he enjoyed making the video though :lol: Great pre-release #1 though! My faves here;

 

Oh!!! :( I actually quite like the new ATB track. Very different from that style of trance he produced in 1999 with all those bendy notes. This is a lot more radio friendly imo. 'Shame' is a great track and deservedly straight in at #1.

It did indeed although it was fairly close. 'Dynamite' has become my fave Taio Cruz song actually overtaking 'Come On Girl'. Glad the track has managed to enjoy chart success on an international scale - much better than 'Break Your Heart'.

The odd thing was that Pepper & Piano weren't that good in their live semi final. I'd seen their audition on YouTube and it was that performance that won me over. The song is beautiful and deserves its place here.

'Hearts Don't Lie' was abysmal. At least this song has a tune to it (albeit not a great one :lol: ) and Gabriella sounds like a lady singing rather than a strangled cat.

I've not watched an entire semi final all the way through. Just tend to watch the performances on YouTube either on Sunday nights or Monday evenings. If you like a reality TV music show where it's all about the talent and songwriting ability rather than some "really fit 17 year old boy who is an average singer but looks carry him into the final" then yes MBTM is perfect. That's coming from someone who does watch The X Factor but purely in the hope that we will discover someone who could be potentially fantastic (like Cher from last :D ).

Does it? :lol: I don't know what you're referring to. It sounds alright to me. In fact, it's a great track and it deserves its success. Olly is more of a "lad's lad" so he is more my type of male artist than Joe McElderry who - whilst he's a very good singer - doesn't work as a "popstar". He should be in the West End playing Joseph in Technicolour Dreamcoat or something like that. His voice is far too Disney for my liking.

Yeah, I nearly completely forgot all about this. I saw it on Clubland TV, then thought of your chart ( :D ) and made a note to chart it. Shame it didn't become a UK hit, even top 40 would've been good.

True but it's much better than the dreadful 'Hearts Don't Lie' - what a terrible follow up to such a great track like 'On A Mission'. Must be the only time where a #1 in my chart has had its follow up single fail to chart for me.
