September 7, 201015 yr Also glad to see that Crossfire is not falling too much :D Crossfire will probably stabilise this week as the album version is out which will help it to broadly retain its position from last week.
September 7, 201015 yr Missing You dropping down 10places today!! The Album! Looks likely for another week in the top 15! I predict they will be in the top 20 next week aswell :)
September 7, 201015 yr I knew you'd be pleased Tom, they're doing amazingly especially after practically no-one thought they'd even get top 10 (or top 20!!). I always believed they would be an album act rather than a singles act, but it's really WAAAAAAAY better than I could have hoped. Hope it stays top 5 all week.
September 7, 201015 yr Oh and Olly dropping to #4 already... This one was massively front-loaded, groing from a monstruous lead at the beginning of last tweek to dropping to #4 the following week. Ouch.
September 7, 201015 yr I always believed they would be an album act rather than a singles act, but it's really WAAAAAAAY better than I could have hoped. Hope it stays top 5 all week. I felt that way too. I hope they'll stay at #3 not only because that it's better than #5 but also because it'll finally kick Eminem out from top-3.
September 7, 201015 yr The fact that Hurts are ahead of Eminem is a good sign, I really can't see them falling outside the top 5 :cheer:
September 7, 201015 yr SO happy for Alexandra, how did she rack up a 10k lead with Katy neck and neck with her on iTunes combined? Either way, not fussed, just HAPPY
September 7, 201015 yr Thank you! I hope Fresh will manage to scrape into the top-30 for his sixth week, it'll be brilliant! And I've just noticed that Kylie is up to 28 in the albums chart! The new single is already making the effect despite doing barely anything now on its own? Is she? I had Brandon vision. This is great news
September 7, 201015 yr I just think that repect to the song i much prefer Teenage Dream lol sorry to be true :P Teenage Dream is really a good song but lost two weeks to the X Factor lol...someone should have done a campaign again to fight them down hahaha :D and get TD to the top is way better than to get KITN to the top hahaha :P anyway surprised that Mcfly got #3 :D hope they can do better...but the two songs at the top are really selling big :S so Well Done McFly :D really nice song btw
September 7, 201015 yr OMG yes yes yes ! Now I don't want them to drop throughout the week. Then you might want to avoid reading the later midweek updates... :P Singles 3 McFly I doubt there's one person here who'd bet on them still being this high on Sunday, though... :w00t:
September 7, 201015 yr Oh and Olly dropping to #4 already... This one was massively front-loaded, groing from a monstruous lead at the beginning of last tweek to dropping to #4 the following week. Ouch. McFly should drop by Sunday, so Olly has a chance to stay top 3
September 7, 201015 yr Oh a nice climb for Kylie, hope she continues to climb throughout the mid week updates!
September 7, 201015 yr I think its interesting that Radio 1 has all but ignored Alexandra Burkes last few singles but yet they still all have made the top 10 , despite their lack of support for her
September 7, 201015 yr Author Never expected Alexandra to be #1 this week, its not as strong as her previous material, its better than the McFly rubbish though. The Script might tail off later in the week, it just seems too high for an average track. Alesha I can see her trailing off, she be lucky to stay top 20 me thinks. And before anyone asks why Greg Street is not in the chart, probably because the track is not registered.
September 7, 201015 yr I think its interesting that Radio 1 has all but ignored Alexandra Burkes last few singles but yet they still all have made the top 10 , despite their lack of support for her The best thing about her hopefully being No 1 on Sunday is it it two fingers again to R1 who playlisted practically every song that was released the same day as her.So pleased that she has a good lead but keep downloading it is early days yet.Surprised but good for them that Linkin Park are Top 40.Brandon gave a really good performance on Alan Carr was expecting him to do well.
September 7, 201015 yr Delighted to see Alexandra #1, hope she can hold on to it. Alesha is about 1,000 copies away from the Top 10.
September 7, 201015 yr Suprised to see McFly at number 3 actually. But they're really unpredictable now with the different sound/ download music climate. Still, they seemed really behind on Itunes at 8 so I was expecting them to be at number 5 at most.
September 7, 201015 yr SO happy for Alexandra, how did she rack up a 10k lead with Katy neck and neck with her on iTunes combined? Either way, not fussed, just HAPPY Without the sales data it is difficult to say, but I guess based on last week's sales and this week's positions, Alex has probably sold approx 35k, say 30-40k to give a sufficient range. That means based on iTunes, and the pop bars where she is 13% ahead of Katy's combined versions, that she's sold about 4k more on iTunes downloads than Katy, which means that she's shifting a LOT of physicals and/or is selling a lot more on other download sites. Delighted to see Alexandra #1, hope she can hold on to it. Alesha is about 1,000 copies away from the Top 10. Is that from her official twitter? I think she's going to drop back throughout the week - can definitely see Brandon and Katy B overtaking, probably Roll Deep too.
September 7, 201015 yr Alexandra is going down on amazon they are asking for over £2 for once itunes is cheaper! Is that from her official twitter? I think she's going to drop back throughout the week - can definitely see Brandon and Katy B overtaking, probably Roll Deep too. what she has sold to much already to fall behind them
