Well I did some digging this week & got told that anyone that makes the top 40 will always be included. If they don't make the 40, then they will never be included because the BBC do not recognise positions outside the top 40 & are not allowed to mention positions 41-75 anyway.
September 17, 201014 yr Author I'm a bit disappointed you didn't credit Enter The Ninja to 'The Answer' :( Well i don't speak Afrikaans! It may have been confusing, because of a certain Irish band also called The Answer...Remember them?
September 17, 201014 yr Thanks Dave on the pre-orders, looks like Robbie and Gary will have number 1 in the bag for that week, good to see KOL so high, looks like they'll definately go top 5- if only it wasnt for Joe McElderry :(
September 17, 201014 yr Well i don't speak Afrikaans! It may have been confusing, because of a certain Irish band also called The Answer...Remember them? I don't remember them per se but I have heard of them. They had a top 30 (?) album last year IIRC. EDIT: Yup, 'Everyday Demons', #25. Edited September 17, 201014 yr by ~ braysephone ~
September 17, 201014 yr Resident Evil 5 and Assassins Creed 2 ahead of Halo: Reach in the games chart?! Something has got to be wrong there! Halo is a huge franchise, one of the biggest in gaming, and was just released this week - but Resi 5 and AC2 have been out for ages? Edited September 17, 201014 yr by ags_rule
A lot of big games open at 2 or 3 and then climb to #1 2nd week, not sure why. They might be released midway through the week for this chart or something...
September 17, 201014 yr Halo: Reach sold 330,000 copies in the first day though, which is the third biggest first day sales ever. Surely it should easily be the number one game.
September 17, 201014 yr A lot of big games open at 2 or 3 and then climb to #1 2nd week, not sure why. They might be released midway through the week for this chart or something... Aren't games released on Friday and the chart published on Saturday or something? I thought that's why - they only have 1 day of sales vs. 7 for everything else - not 100% sure about that though but I'm sure that's how it used to work at least.
