Lots of great ones just crashed out at once - Pendulum, Vampire Weekend, Mumford and Biffy! Not sure I voted for them all though, Biffy and Mumfords albums I only got in the last couple days. Great bands though!
:w00t: at Heart getting so high! It's probably down to my generous ranking of them. :D

'Alone' and 'What About Love?' are classic rock tunes!

Btw, You've got the wrong group in the picture. The sisters don't look like that.

This is them:

McFly are a BRIT Award winning pop rock group who first found fame in 2004. The band consists of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals and guitar), Danny Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Dougie Poynter (backing vocals and bass guitar) and Harry Judd (drums). They are managed by Prestige Management and were signed to the Island Records label from their 2004 launch until December 2007, before creating their own label, Super Records. The band rose to fame after fellow pop band Busted helped launch them by inviting them to tour in March 2004. The band's name originates from Marty McFly, the main character of the Back to the Future trilogy.

McFly's debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, debuted at number 1 in the UK album chart and is certified as double platinum this led to the band becoming known as the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number 1 – a title taken from The Beatles. A month after the album was released, the band had their first UK headlining tour. The band's second album, Wonderland, also charted at number 1 in the UK, and was released in 2005.Their third album, Motion in the Ocean, was released on 6 November 2006 and charted at number 6 in the UK. McFly released their All the Greatest Hits compilation album on 5 November 2007, which charted at number 4 in the UK. The band's fourth studio album, Radio:Active, was given away for free as a supplement in The Mail on Sunday on 20 July 2008, before being released in the conventional manner (via physical release) on 22 September 2008. As of December 2008, McFly have had sixteen consecutive top twenty singles, seven of which reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart and fifteen of which were consecutive top ten singles.

McFly appeared in the teen comedy film Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, in 2006. The band played themselves in the film and released a US album, Just My Luck, which was also used as the film's soundtrack. The group have also performed at various charity projects such as Comic Relief, Children in Need, Live 8 and Sport Relief.

Lots of great bands dropping out here, only recently gotten into Biffy and Vampire Weekend admittetly but I've quickly been won over. I find it hard to believe how someone can claim to not love at least one Pendulum record, like Mumford & Sons, I've not actually listened to any of the albums yet but I'll get there eventually.

And now I will ruin any music credability I may have gained in this post by admitting that I think I quite like McFly aswell. Obviously for any record they've made thats any good, theres another thats god damn awful but I do adore Party Girl, Star Girl, the material from the second album and Obviously.

Multimillion selling band Westlife finish so low on this countdown racking up less than 30points due to 3 karate kicks. Originated from Ireland and are the biggest selling band in the United Kingdom. Westlife have racked up eight number one albums inclduing 14number one singles. Westlife in my opinion have finished low and should have been in the top twenty, there behind many artists who should be way below them. Anyway.. i was shocked at this result.

ain't shocked cause only less than 10 really knows who is Westlife. I thought they will be #100 in this site. RIDICULOUS lol

What do you mean? I'm sure majority of the people on this site know who they are, but obviously don't like them enough to vote for them

As if only 10 people know who Westlife are

Someone just can't stand the fact nobody likes their favourite band :kink:

cause only less than 10 really knows who is Westlife

Foo Fighters are an American alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1995. Drummer Dave Grohl formed the group as a one-man project after the dissolution of his previous band, Nirvana, in 1994. Prior to the release of the band's eponymous debut album in 1995, Grohl drafted Nate Mendel as bassist, William Goldsmith as drummer, and fellow Nirvana bandmate Pat Smear as guitarist to complete the group. The band was small, young, and began with performances in Portland, Oregon before gaining popularity. Goldsmith left during the recording of the group's second album, The Colour and the Shape (1997), and Smear's departure followed soon afterward. They were replaced by Taylor Hawkins and Franz Stahl, respectively, although Stahl left prior to the recording of the group's third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose (1999).

Chris Shiflett joined as the band's third guitarist after the completion of There Is Nothing Left to Lose. The band released its fourth album, One by One, in 2002. The group followed that release with the two-disc In Your Honor (2005), which was split between acoustic songs and harder-rocking material. Foo Fighters released its sixth album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, in 2007. Later that year, guitarist Pat Smear rejoined the band.

Over the course of the band's existence, three of its albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album, and all six have been nominated for Grammys.

The Cardigans were a Swedish band formed in the town of Jönköping in October 1992.

Their debut album Emmerdale (1994) gave them a solid base in their home country and enjoyed some success abroad, especially in Japan. It was not until their second album Life (1995) that an international reputation was secured. The band are best known outside of Sweden for their hit singles "Erase/Rewind" and "My Favourite Game" from the album Gran Turismo (1998) and "Lovefool" from the album First Band on the Moon (1996). Its inclusion in the soundtrack of William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet by director Baz Luhrmann secured their popularity.

Foo Fighters are great- they really should be higher, some really good songs they've done

The Cardigans I dont know except Lovefool- which I do like

Massive Attack are a collaborative British music production duo from Bristol. Necessarily working alongside facilitating co-producers, as well as various favoured session musicians and guest vocalists, they make records and tour live. The duo are considered to be progenitors of the trip hop genre.

Originally three in number, DJs Grantley "Grant" Evan Marshall (a.k.a. Daddy G or "G"), Andrew "Andy" Lee Isaac Vowles (a.k.a. Mushroom or "Mush") and graffiti artist-turned-MC (later turned-singer) Robert Del Naja (a.k.a. 3D or "D") met as members of DJ/MC partying collective, The Wild Bunch. One of the first homegrown soundsystems in the UK, The Wild Bunch became dominant on the Bristolian club scene in the mid-1980s.

Massive Attack itself started as a spin-off production trio in 1988, with the independently-released song, "Any Love", sung by falsetto-voiced singer-songwriter Carlton McCarthy, and then, with considerable backing from Neneh Cherry, they signed to Circa Records in 1990 – committing to deliver six studio albums and a "best of" compilation. Circa became a subsidiary of, and was later subsumed into, Virgin Records, which in turn was acquired by the now Terra Firma-owned major, EMI
