September 15, 201014 yr NADINE COYLE is engaged to American football star JASON BELL. Facing questions about her sparkly new ring on Radio 1 this afternoon, the GIRLS ALOUD singer revealed she's heading down the aisle with her bulky Yank lover. A cagy Nadine coyly told Scott Mills: "Yes, I am (engaged)." She also painted a picture of the moment Jason got down on two bended knees and asked for her hand in marriage. The Northern Irish lass said: "I just got back from London and he was in New York and he surprised me with a ring and stuff, while I was in my pyjamas! "If I had known I would have had a blow-dry or at least had a manicure or something! "It happened in Los Angeles. He was really nice about it. "He got down on two knees, not one knee because he had played football for a while so he was all banged up. It was different! "It was really, really nice. He's probably dying now." Minutes later, Nadine was clearly struggling with the magnitude of her on-air revelation. She added: "It's out there now. I'm trying to relax." Nadine and Jason - who divorced his first wife in 2007 - have been dating on and off since September 2008. The singer also added weight to suggestions all is not well in the Girls Aloud camp. Asked if she'd received a phone call or text from any of her bandmates since returning to British soil, Nadine replied: "No." She added: "I haven't seen them in a while to be honest. I tried to call SARAH (HARDING) a few weeks ago to see how she's getting on. "We've grown apart for now. What brought us together was the work. We have a friendly working relationship."
