Glyn was an annoying div, it annoyed me greatly how seemingly everyone in Wales supported him and that he also beat Aisleyne to second place. He was one of the only things in BB7 I didnt enjoy, and things would have been much better had he been evicted over Bonnie in the first eviction.

 

Anthony too was nothing special, and an awfully dull winner. His 'romances' with Makosi and Craig were his only real memorable moments in the house. Rex too was overrated terribly as a housemate, his popularity at the begining at the show was baffling (I hated the awful B-Block with a passion) and I was very pleased to see Sara finish above him.

 

Kemal on the otherhand was brilliant, completly entertaining, over the top and dramatic, the love/hate relationship with Makosi was brilliant as was his entrance + exit. Most definatly should not have been evicted over non-entity Orlaith.

Victor Afanefuma Ebuwa is from London. On day 56 he was evicted following an argument with fellow housemate Shell Jubin, after which a fan of Victor's sent death threats to Shell's parents' house. Victor was involved in fight night and was given a formal warning.

TV critics, notably Ally Ross (The Sun TV Critic), have credited Victor for saving the Big Brother UK franchise, by stirring controversy and his 'straight talking' attitude towards housemates. The previous year's show had been criticised for being dull, leading to record low viewing figures and a subsequent drop in eviction votes. Viewing figures increased this year to an average of 7 million every night.

Since leaving the house, Victor has appeared on Flipside TV, Celebrity Poker Club as well as various other Channel 4 shows.

In 2010 Victor appeared as a contestant in Ultimate Big Brother, finishing fourth. Victor had spent a total of 71 days in the Big Brother house during his two stays; 57 days during Big Brother 5 and 14 days during Ultimate Big Brother.

After winning Big Brother he donated the £70,000 prize to his Down's syndrome friend Joanne Harris to help pay for her heart and lung transplant. Joanne died in April 2008 after contracting an infection in hospital. In 2001 Craig presented Renovation Street with Linda Robson for ITV before being brought in as the DIY expert for the BBC on an exclusive contract. He also has a production company called Avent Productions set up in 2003 for Avent he has presented the programmes Conversion, a 10 part series for Discovery Realtime, and the sixth series of Hung, Drawn & Quartered, a 6 part series for British Forces Broadcasting Service. In 2007 Craig joined the team of 60 Minute Makeover for ITV1 for the fifth and sixth series trading his famous on screen white t-shirt look for a black t-shirt look In 2009, Craig reappeared on Big Brother 10 as part of a task celebrating ten years of Big Brother. Craig challenged Halfwit on an obstacle course challenge, which Halfwit won.

Victor was horrible in his series, but I warmed to him much more in UBB. Craig I've always found fairly boring.

 

Rachael was amazing for her first week, never should've got evicted first. :(

Amanda Louise Marchant and Samantha Joanne Marchant are the first set of twins ever to appear on Big Brother in the UK. Both are social-care students from Knutton, Newcastle-under-Lyme and before entering the house were students at Manchester Metropolitan University.. Nicknamed by the press as Samanda, the pair celebrated their birthday on Day 28.

When the two entered the house, they were classified as separate housemates. Following an offer by Big Brother, the twins chose to become a single housemate on Day 69, meaning that the twins nominate together, participate in tasks together and face the public vote together. Amanda shared a kiss with Brian in the early hours of day 70. Despite being the bookies' favourite to win, Amanda and Sam came second and left the house on Day 94 with an overall winning voting percentage of 39.7%.

Amanda and Sam were the first housemates - since Stuart from Big Brother 5 - to make it to the final and to never have received a single nomination from their fellow housemates.

Amanda and Sam stayed in the Big Brother house longer than anybody else in the UK, 94 Days. Big Brother 8 was the longest series of Big Brother UK, and the twins were the first to enter on Launch night and second to last to leave on the final night.

Benjamin Duncan is a 30-year-old writer and broadcaster from London. He supports the Conservative Party. He previously appeared in TV reality shows such as Ladette to Lady and similar American shows The Girls of Hedsor Hall and American Princess, usually as an eligible bachelor for the female contestants. Other TV appearances include being a juror in Sex In Court and assisting friend Raef Bjayou in Celebrity Come Dine With Me. He was evicted on Day 52, with 52% of the vote. He re entered the house on week 10 as part of Bob Righters prediction task for one hour.

 

Following the show Ben took part in filming for an upcoming TV series Celebrity Coach Trip again with friend Raef Bjayou.

Ugh Ben & Rachael - probably the most overrated HMs of the last series :/ Totally awful and vile. Especially Ben.

Ugh. The Twins. The fact that they had to be combined as one housemate says everything about them, a complete gimmick and one that wore off very quickly at that.

 

Ben was decent but horribly overrated aswell, I still dont get how his fanbase could be as hypocritical as they were, critisizing Ife & Govan and the likes for their bitching, but completly willing to stand by and allow Ben and Dave to slag off people to the high heavens.

 

Craig and Helen both seem very decent, having not watched their respective series's. Rachael was genunely lovely, stitched up right and proper by the Australian baffoon and could have made a brilliant housemate, #24 seems a tad higher than I expected but I had her at #27 so I probably shouldnt complain too much.

 

Couldnt stand Victor in BB5 but like Michelle, he seemed to have matured over the years and was much better in UBB.

I never watched BB5, but Victor was great in UBB- I really like him

 

Craig seemed a lovely guy, and Samanda were really cute at the time :wub:

Alison Hammond was a travel rep from Birmingham. She entered the house on Day 1. Alison is most remembered for the time where she jumped on a garden table, only for it to break under her weight. While in the house she formed close friendships with Kate and Jonny. Alison was evicted on Day 15. Since leaving the house, Alison has appeared on many television programmes, including losing the most amount of weight on Celebrity Fit Club and losing a challenge on Celebrities Under Pressure. She has also appeared on Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes (performing as Nina Simone), Celebrity Ready Steady Cook, as a panellist on ITV's Loose Women, as a presenter on the short-lived ITV Play channel and in 2004, she played herself in Christmas Lights opposite Robson Green. She now has a full-time presenting job on This Morning.

I imagine it's a result of the fact the majority of the forum liked her, and due to her still being fresh in the mind, made the majority of peoples list in the lower regions. Cant really imagine anyone considering her one of their all time greats though.

 

Alison was brilliant, and very much so should have survived over Alex and the vile Sandy. One of the most unjustified evictions ever really, she had potential to be absoultely great. Her breaking the table has to be one of the highlights aswell.

Emma Louise Greenwood was formerly an administrative assistant from Oldham, Greater Manchester and had a minor singing career before and after her time in the house. Emma has also been a member of the British Army.

 

Emma moved into a flat in London with fellow housemate Marco for several months.

 

In 2006 Emma was voted the fifth most popular housemate of all time losing to BB2 winner Brian Dowling who finished 4th and Fellow Housemates Michelle Bass (who finished 2nd) and Stuart Wilson (who was 3rd) and Nadia who won. She was removed from the house on Day 22 following fight night. Emma now runs a property website.

Samuel Nicholas Pepper is a graffiti artist from Folkestone, Kent. He was educated at Pent Valley Technology College. He once worked in a zoo, was a entertainer (clown) at a hotel in Greece and can ride a unicycle. He is a vegetarian. He entered the house on Day 52 as Laura's replacement as part of the "ignore the obvious" task, where housemates are not permitted to react to out-of-the-ordinary things that are put into the house. He was chosen in particular due to his antagonistic nature whilst in the auditions, which was mentioned by several housemates before his entrance. He was evicted on Day 73 with 14.6% of the public vote.
