Has there ever been such an overrated housemate as Sam? Well Nikki perhaps but Sam would be a close second. His fanbase aswell is just alarmingly awful, and under the impression he was some amazing entertainer when in reality, he spent his first few days giving some vague hints that JJJ may not actually love each other before eventually becoming just another one of their unbearable hareem.

Not a particularlly likeable guy either, seemed to be picking on Corin purely for the sake of it & to please John. Now appears to have a bit of an ego (and not in a good Beyonce type way either) and believes his undeserved hype.

Most definatly not one of the top 20 housemates of all time.

Liked Emma, surprised she made the top 20 though, can't stand Sam Pepper... urgh :puke2:

Alison - she was brilliant, evicted WAY to early! and one of the only housemates to still be famous!

Emma - was hilarious, one of the best hms ever without a doubt, wish they hadn't booted her out

Sam - probably the best in BB11 but that's not saying alot, he is funny though, but not worthy of 18th imo

17. Lisa Appleton (BB9) (156 points)

Finished: 8th (Evicted 11th)

Total Nominations on BB: 21

Lisa Appleton is a tanning sales rep from Warrington, Cheshire. She is also involved in charity fund-raising. Lisa is a former bodybuilder, a fitness and health fanatic and has an 18-year-old daughter. She once appeared on Gladiators as a contestant. She believes in reincarnation, life after death, clairvoyants, ghosts, spirit guides, and universal dynamics. On Day 1, along with Mario, Stephanie, and Luke, Lisa was given a secret mission to hide her relationship with fellow housemate Mario; failure to do so would result in automatic nomination. On Day 4, the housemates discovered her relationship and Mario and Lisa were subsequently nominated for failing the task. On Day 58 Lisa decided to escape from the house after the arrival of Nicole because she was missing Mario. She broke through an emergency exit, but because she had not left the Big Brother compound, she was allowed to return to the house. On Day 81 her partner, Mario, returned to the house and proposed to Lisa. She said yes. On Day 84 Sara and Lisa played the prisoner's dilemma and shared £50,000. Lisa was the eleventh housemate to be evicted on Day 86 with 52.6% of the public vote

Lisa  started off hating her but by the end she was definitely the best character in the house, in the final eviction it should not have been her vs sara, as shown by the closeness of the vote
Emma and Lisa were amazing. Emma NEVER should've got kicked out on Fight Night, should've been Victor, was so gutted when she got ejected! :( She was one of the funniest housemates ever and could've done really well had she stayed. Lisa was definetly one of the best in her year, completely hilarious and cracked out some right one liners, shame the spazzy happy house clique got her evicted against the amazing Sara. :(

Lisa was brilliant. Started off as quite a boring and bland bit of plastic at Mario's side, his eviction did wonders for her as she came out of her shell immediately afterwards. The list of brilliant quotes she came out with is endless, highlights for me would be the training Guinea-Pigs, oh and her breakout, and Mikey spilling Tea on her aswell when they had that biking task was classic. I bet no one actually remembers that but anyway....

Her and Sara really did keep that series together after the dreadful B-Block managed to evict anyone else who was even vaguely entertaining or likeable. And it was a complete tragedy that it was her and Sara in that vote to evict when both very much so deserved their places in the final, a part of me wishes Lisa would have stayed aswell since she could have actually challenged Rachel snoozefest Rice for the win.

Should really be top 10, but I'm happy with top 20 anyway.

Lisa is high! I liked her but didn't expect her in the top 20

Sam was probably the best housemate from last year- he really added entertainment, although towards the end he got annoying and a bit spiteful

Lisa was a good housemate, she really came out of her shell when Mario left, and became a genuinely good-hearted housemate

16. Kate Lawler (BB3) (160 points)

Finished: 1st (Winner)

Total Nominations on BB: 6

Kate Lawler is an IT helper and part time model from Beckenham, south east London. Her twin sister Karen convinced her to apply for the show. While in the house she grew close to Alison, Jonny, Jade (who she had met at auditions) and Spencer. She is most remembered in the house for her drunken antics. On Day 20, she received one strike for crossing over from the poor side to the rich side, although she says that Spencer pulled her over. While in the house she argued with Jade and Alex. On Day 64, she left the house as the winner. Since leaving the house with the £70,000 prize money, she has enjoyed steady work in television and became a DJ on Capital FM, a position she held until December 2003. After leaving the house, she had a short-lived relationship with fellow housemate, Spencer. She has also engaged in a very publicised feud with Jade Goody. In 2007, Kate appeared on the BBC comedy Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive. She co-presented the Kerrang! Radio breakfast show, The Morning After alongside Tim Shaw 7am-10am and now presents the drivetime show 4pm-7pm. On 26 January 2008, Kate returned to Big Brother as a hijacker for a day, in the new show Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

Loved Kate aswell, she most definatly should be top 10 though I suppose the fact that BB3 was so long ago is what held her back a bit. A very deserving winner of one of the best BB series's there was, a shame really that BJ has decided to rank Jade above. I mean, what on earth posessed us to do such a thing I do not know.

Lisa <3 Was quite good, loved how she was so calm about that wedding

Sam :puke: Overrated and vile. Ugh.

Finished: 14th (Evicted 6th)

Total Nominations on BB: 20

Rebecca 'Bex' Shiner is a nursery nurse from Coventry, West Midlands. She is fond of many former boy bands, especially the American group Hanson. An ex-pal said Hanson’s bosses threatened to take out a restraining order after she camped outside their hotels and called their rooms. She was also arrested and taken to the police station for 12 hours when found sleeping on a park bench, following V to Disneyland. Upon entering the house on Day 1, Rebecca screamed and gasped, to the concern of the other housemates. Rebecca was the sixth housemate to be evicted on Day 51 with 65.4% of the public vote. She had a 18 month romance with fellow contestant Luke after being evicted. She is now a regular on Television X's sex channels.

Total Nominations on BB: 3

Peter Alexander Bennett was the winner of Big Brother 7. He is a rock and roll singer from Brighton and has Tourette's syndrome.

During his time in the Big Brother house Pete had a romantic relationship with Nikki Grahame, however their relationship did not last after their time on Big Brother.

Pete was the bookmaker's firm favourite to win from the very start of the series. On 18 August 2006, Pete won Big Brother 7 with 61.2% of the final vote. He stated he intends to give the money to his mother.

Loved Rebecca. On reflection, I'm not all that sure if it would be the same had she appeared on other series's, but I was so against B-Block's ridicolous popularity at the time that I was willing to support anyone who was of the same opinion. And she was somewhat fabolously shameless aswell, provided many hilarious moments (the majority of the enjoyment of BB9 really did die when she and Luke were evicted for me) and well, we'll never know how true the romance really was, but it was entertaining for the time being at least. On the whole, wonderful housemate who I'm very glad made the top 20.

Pete was a decent bloke there's no denying, and a worthy winner (if your idea of a worthy winner is the nice person who didnt really contribute a great deal to the enjoyment of the series.) Still, it could have been worse. Glyn could have won. The only real problem I think people really have with Pete is the fact it was really a forgone conclusion from the off-set he would win, and tragically that was proved right.

Finished: 3rd (Evicted 16th)

Total Nominations on BB: 11

Sara Lorraine Folino is a personal assistant from London. She had a rural upbringing in Melbourne, Australia, but was granted the right to move to London in 2003, because of her Scottish grandmother and her English mother. Sara, a self-described Angelina Jolie look-a-like used to work in a bank, but now works for MTV. Sara says she has a twin brother who is five minutes her junior, but she hasn't seen him since her Italian father kicked her out of the family home when she was 15 years old. She said: "I don't really know what he looks like because I've not been home for five and a half years. I don't really see my family because my dad kicked me out of the house so there's a bit of bad blood there. On Day 84 Sara and Lisa played the prisoner's dilemma and shared £50,000. Sara finished the series in third place with 30.1% of the public vote, and left the house on Day 93.

Please tell me that last bit is a joke :o
